My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

“Bearmark was responsible for the design and execution of a plan to transform our largely unusable back yard into a space where we would want to relax and entertain. Our experience with Bearmark could not have been better. Brian Beresford listened to our interests and priorities, and through an iterative process he developed a design that provided exactly what we were looking for. The construction phase was equally satisfying. It entailed: excavating and leveling much of the back yard; removing an old fence, paving stones, pressure treated timber retaining walls, steps and plants. A poured concrete retaining wall and concrete steps were installed, low basalt retaining walls were put in place, a new patio was laid out, a new fence was constructed and new landscaping was provided. All of this work was done very professionally. Communication was excellent throughout. Brian's crews were exemplary. To a person they were hard workers, reliable, polite and intent on providing what we were looking for. The work site was cleaned up very well at the end of each day. When the unexpected arose, solutions to problems were found quickly and painlessly. Based on our experience we would not hesitate to recommend Bearmark Design and Landscape.”

“CC leveled and put paving stones on my rear deck area. They were punctual, respectful, friendly and worked very hard. They used a creative idea on the stairs that is my favourite feature. There have been no sinking nor shifting of the stones. There are a couple minor angle issues which kept me from giving 5 stars. I have recommended these guys and will continue to do so; not for their low prices, but for the quality of my experience with them..”
