We have worked with Will and his team on two closely related projects: (1) a paver driveway and (2) the connecting patio and landscaping. From beginning to end the process with Will and team has been exceptional. He is the rare contractor who hits the important notes: On-time, communicative, responsive, thorough, thoughtful, clean, considerate (of neighbors), and detail-oriented. Starting with his proposal, everything was very detailed and laid out in terms that could easily be understood as we were translating a landscaping plan into the proposal for work. As with all home renovation projects, real life doesn't always align to plan so Will was adaptive and creative in coming up with the best solutions to fit our needs. He gave us multiple options for material choices and layouts, explaining the cost implications of each. When they work, Will and his team are efficient and exceptionally clean (which is remarkable as they are purveyors of dirt); when the project is through you can barely tell they've been there. Finally, and most importantly, what makes Will an exceptional contractor is how he responds to feedback. Most of the work he and his team did was outstanding, and in the one instance where it wasn't perfect he was back at our house the next day to rectify the situation to ensure we were 100% satisfied. Over the last two years we have had a lot of work done in our house with over 10 contractors and subcontractors and Will is by far and away the best we have worked with. Looking forward to having him and his team back next Spring for another project. I wouldn't trust it to anyone else.

Will did a major project for our house in Boxford over the last year - total transformation of both our backyard and front yard. We could not be happier with both the process and the outcome. Will was responsible for both design and execution. His design input was very helpful and he has a great "eye". Will was always professional and did what he said he would do on the timeline promised. He kept in communication with us and we never felt in the dark. He's also easy to work with - he's about how he can get something done rather than coming up with reasons why you can't do something. We hired W.T. LeRoyer Landscape & Design to build a retaining wall to stabilize a slope on our property, install 3 walkways, install a patio with a granite step, and do edging, drainage and garden bed preparation. I can say without hesitation that Will was a pleasure to work with. His estimate was clearly written and he took his time talking to us to make sure he understood what we wanted. He and his crew were very professional, always on time, respectful of our property and the neighborhood. Will gave us great advice on how to go about selecting pavers and never flinched when I changed my mind about the size of the granite step, after it was installed! I can recommend him highly, and will call him again, should another project arise.

“Fine people doing fine work." And, “Artistry meets engineering.” That's what comes to mind about Will LeRoyer and his team. My driveway had settled below garage level, and eroded badly from below where it abutted my 3 car garage. The solution of a strip of cobblestone pavers rising to the garage is an aesthetic and a functional home run. It that matches my stone farmer walls and gardens trimmed in stone etc. Several layers of various types of fill went into shoring up the base below. At times 4 W.T. LeRoyer trucks and a whole team were cranking away - all very friendly and eager to provide the outcome I wanted. And they did. On time. On budget. More great work was done in the back under a deck that never 'worked' - but does now! Net/net - I recommend W.T. LeRoyer fully and enthusiastically - on every level.

Will and his crew completed two projects at our mid-century home where the landscape had been overlooked for years. Will removed a deteriorating brick patio, cut back overgrowth, installed french drains, installed a bluestone patio and walkway, and prepared a large area for planting grass, including removing fieldstone and stumps. Will used fieldstone from the site for practical applications such as diverting water and hiding drain exits, as well as creative placement of stones to complement the patio and lawn area. During the building of the patio, Will also removed old concrete steps with care so the house siding would not be damaged. Later, we hired Will to return to complete another phase of our project that included a pea stone patio and a fieldstone pathway and steps. Out of the many contractors we have worked with for various projects, Will stands out because of his professionalism. He was willing to take the time to review plans and answer questions until we were comfortable, to question issues that concerned him, and to seek approval before making decisions. He was responsive, showed up reliably, kept us updated, kept the site neat and organized, and completed the project on schedule. We did not have an unlimited budget and Will helped us define the project to meet our needs. His crew was professional, friendly and respectful of our personal space. We would not hesitate to hire Will in the future.

We hired Will to install a patio. Will was very thorough in going through options with us, working on measurements and taking us to see some of his previous work so that we could see the materials/work/design in person. He showed up for all meetings on time and kept to the agreed upon budget. Will is very easy to work with and we were very satisfied with his work. We have and would use Will again and we continue to refer friends to him.
