West Bay Landscape did a full remodel of three separate redwood decks - one of which is huge. THEN they 'hardscaped' and landscaped the rest of our 1/3 ac. lot... ...all within the time constraints of our impending marriage. That was last year... Now, a year later, we could not be more pleased. The plants have filled in beautifully, the LED outdoor lighting looks more dramatic than we imagined (though Kevin said it would look great), and the drip system keeps everything green and lush... We chose to use the West Bay maintenance for their familiarity with our yard... But their follow up and quality care is what is keeping us - happily - with them. FIve stars.

West Bay Landscape did a wonderful job on yard. They removed our lawn and they came up with an entirely new concept that is drought friendly and beautiful. The workers were polite and cleaned up everyday. We are extremely happy with their job.

Kevin and his team from West Bay Landscape performed our back yard renovation. Our yard had original concrete and a pool from the early 1960's. The project included everything from new drainage, pavers, pergola, seating area, waterfall, fire pit, pool renovation and of course landscaping. We are very happy with West Bay and love our new living space! The crews were professional and took care with their work. Any issues that did arise were addressed immediately and professionally to our satisfaction. The water fall into the pool is AMAZING. We definitely recommend West Bay Landscape!

Kevin Troyan of West Bay Landscape did our landscaping. The results were better than we expected, and three years later, still are. Working with Kevin was great, he asked what we wanted, made suggestions, and gave up some excellent plans for the job. Getting the changes we wanted were easy and fast. The landscaping included lighting that set everything off nicely. In addition to the the landscaping, Kevin even did a nice job of re-doing our driveway with pavers. I'd recommend, and do recommend Kevin to everybody who asks.

Two times over the last 10 years we initiated backyard design projects, but did not go forward because the designs were just not what we wanted. What is it we looking for in the backyard? – we wanted: natural, functional, drought tolerant and a dog friendly setting. Well, in the late spring of 2014 we observed our neighbor’s completed landscape project, saw visually some of the natural ideals we had been looking for. The landscape team was from Westbay Landscape. After initial interviews and brief concept discussions, we signed on to have Kevin work directly with us. Over a series of meetings the design took its shape and exceeded our expectations- definitely a result of active interactions by all of us. We could tell a team was behind Kevin from the start. We pressed forward with the grand design (an 8 week project- Aug-Sept 2014) and today we are not disappointed. The results exceeded our expectations. Our project, 1) scape to the entire backyard- included saving many plants, 2) Installation of a new functional redwood deck, custom fire-pit, BBQ area, custom rock walls, dry creek, plantings, lighting and pathways. Kevin provides a wonderful combination of design and project management skills. We have now worked with him three times and each has been a great success. He spent the time to get to know the feeling we wanted in our gardens, what we liked and didn't...and then provided suggestions within and beyond what we already knew. We always understood what the cost of any additions would be in terms of time and money, before we approved them, so there were no surprises. The teams who came on site were experienced, careful and respectful of our time and our home...just as Kevin is. Our projects were completed on time, on budget and with just the result we wanted: a beautiful, serene setting with some surprises that we could enjoy with family and friends. After three years I finally convinced my husband that our very generic backyard needed a facelift. I contacted a few landscape design companies; one made an appointment and never showed and the others never returned phone calls. Kevin from West Bay was the only one that came through. He responded quickly and met with us at our home to address our needs and wants. He made us feel very comfortable that we would get the back yard of our dreams. And then when we saw the design plans we were blown away. We never imagined that our yard could look that beautiful. We were so excited to get started. He thoroughly went over all details and budget of our project and addressed any concerns we had. His crew was amazing. They showed up every day on time and when they left each day they cleaned up as much as possible. It was such a delight to see progress every day. Any time there were any kind of concerns, Kevin was easily accessible and quick to respond. The finished project is beyond beautiful. My yard looks like it came out of a magazine. My husband and I recently contracted with West Bay Landscape for implementing a basic modern design we had for the Backyard and Front Porch of our newly constructed single-family home in Santa Clara. After an exhaustive search and initial contacts, finally obtained Estimates from a few CLCA (California Landscape Contractor’s Association) certified landscape companies in the SF Bay Area. Beginning with the initial visit for the Estimate in mid-Nov 2014, West Bay’s owner Kevin Troyan has had a very hands-on approach with the project, keeping us informed in details, every step of the way. He delivered the Estimate in person and spent an hour or so reviewing every line item of the Estimate in details with us, which was immensely helpful. One of the main aspects that set West Bay apart from the others was that they have their own full-time crew and no sub-contractors, which allows them to better control their schedule and be promptly available to start projects at short notice. In our case, they were available to start right away, whereas the earliest availability of others were a couple of months later. The actual project duration was exactly as provided in the Estimate. The project started in early Dec 2014 and the crew worked diligently throughout the 6 weeks, occasionally working on Saturdays to make up for the rainy days as necessary. We’ve been most impressed with the high level of professionalism, sincerity, dedication and expertise of Kevin’s crew members. Our modern and low-maintenance design was quite unusual and one of a kind, and needed to be further worked on to flush out the details; Kevin’s design team did a wonderful job filling in the holes and building the backyard of our vision within such a short timespan! Some of the aspects of our design was a first-time for Kevin’s team, and they did a truly great job figuring out the best ways for implementation. Kevin developed a keen sense of our likes and dislikes from the initial meetings, and accordingly guided us through the material selection process; most of his expert suggestions exactly reflected our taste. We never thought we’d have the Backyard and Front Porch of our dreams by Jan 2015, but thanks to Kevin and his crew, we do. West Bay Landscape is undoubtedly one of the best in the SF Bay Area, and I don’t say that lightly, given my 4-months long search to find the right landscape builder for our project. West Bay Landscape receives my highest recommendation!
