“Had Sal's Landscaping Co. install a beautiful new patio with Fireplace & Grill area, these guys are the absolute "BEST" in the industry everyone from the Concrete crew, Paving/Stone crew, and the Landscaping Crew. What amazed me & my wife is that these guys are perfectionist with everything they do & each crew specializes on what they do. Thompson Landscape and Design

“I needed to create some privacy and block out my "great" view of the neighbor's expanded garage. But our local building code restricts fences to a 6 foot height. Brian Thompson suggested a "green fence". I agreed but would have tried the common homeowner mistake of planting a simple row of affordably puny evergreens. Thompson came up with two unusual suggestions: a western arbor vitae and an amur maackia. I pressed him to explain his rationale. Brian held class: Evergreens grow slowly and big trees are his specialty. He pointed out two large arbor vitaes next door. Only a third 15+ ft specimen would visualy connect and blur the property line. Our new tree would feature reddish bark to compliment the brown and yellow garage backdrop. Our home is sited to block early morning sun to both trees. Any evergreen would prefer full sun. Planting the deciduous maackia to the west still provides maximum sun to the arbor vitae during shorter daylight hours of both the Spring and Fall."The maackia obscures nothing after Fall" I objected. I was assured that the maackia's blooms and leaves are on display whenever Ohio's weather invites us to spend hours out on the patio. Installation? It was a jaw-dropping 2 hour heavy equiptment ballet. Gentle enough that a tiny bird's nest remained intact in the tree.”
