We recently contracted Winesett Nursery and Landscaping to transform our neglected backyard into our backyard oasis. I really can't put into words how satisfied we are with the result. From the beginning to finish, everyone involved has been so professional and kind. All of the staff from designers, landscapers, fence guys and paver guys are knowledgeable, experienced and talented craftsmen. True artists. I find myself stopping at my windows in the middle of chores, just to look soak in the beauty of my backyard oasis. It's all the extra little touches that were above and beyond that made me grateful that I chose Winesett to bring my backyard dream to reality. Eli listened to us closely to get an idea of what we wanted, gave professional opinions to help guide our decisions, and was patient with me as I changed my mind on the design until I was sure it was perfect. Once we gave the go ahead to start the work, it was completed in a timely manner. The workers were courteous and professional. I am so very happy with this transformation. The result is quality workmanship that will become the base for many years of happy family memories. It couldn't have gone any better.

We love the work that Winesett did at our beach bungalow. We are fortunate to live on the Chesapeake Bay, but the high winds plus sand require a simple landscape design that is meant to withstand the salty air and the sandblast. Of the 3 landscape design companies we consulted with, Eli Winesett offered the most practical design that allowed us to still enjoy flowering blooms anytime of the year. He was the only designer who did not suggest we put down rocks (and had a logical explanation for why)! The foreman and workers who performed the installation were polite and hard working for this job that took one day. I would recommend Winesett's services to anyone who wants to enhance and increase the value of their home! I wish I had before and after pictures as the photos I'm posting don't do the job justice (and it's the winter time, so many of the flowers are dormant), but just know that the entry of our home went from looking vacant and unloved to warm and inviting!

Winesett installed our landscaping in our front yard last year, and followed up with a spring clean-up. The beds look spectacular; each plant is perfect for where they were planted, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of work. The men who did the work were friendly and professional, and took time to explain everything they were doing. Highly recommended Winesett!

After receiving several estimates from paving, concrete and landscaping contractors and not being able to come away with a comprehensive plan, I decided to engage Winesett for a landscape design that incorporates: Lighting Irrigation Hardscapes Landscapes The cost of the plan will be applied to work that Winesett does. So far so good on the collaboration.

Winesette has completed two projects for me, including an extensive grading job. They do top-quality work; though their pricing is high, compared to their competitors (who also do top-quality work.) Landscape pricing seems "soft" -- jobs are bulk priced, and itemized cost is rarely provided unless requested. This makes it difficult to sit at your desk and, say, "What if I keep 'A' and scrap 'B' ", when planning out your design on a budget. Sometimes telephone calls back are quick....other times not. Designs are pretty standard -- not much artistry here. That being said, all designers, staff and pre-screened workers are very professional and clean up daily. Plants are top-quality and they offer a standard one-year guarantee (limited). They do not skimp on materials or labor (proper bed prep, e.g.) I am pleased with the work and would hire them again, after competitive bids.
