Year Round Landscaping did an excellent job in rebuilding our backyard fence! Joe and the team were very professional, prompt and friendly. They showed excellent attention to detail, answered all my questions and kept me informed. The site was left tidy at the end of each day. We love our new fence, are very pleased with the results and are happy to provide a 5 star recommendation.

I've worked with Year Round on 2 occasions over the past 7 years and can't say enough good things about the management and crews. Both projects were residential in nature and required extensive design & construction. In my case all aspects of the work down to the little details were well attended. The weather was the biggest variable and all changes, delays etc. were discussed in advance. When considering a contractor in this industry look for a company that retains and promotes from within; Year Round does just this. 5 years between jobs and it was nice to see many familiar faces (foremen, skilled trades and labourers) attending the second project. As well as manpower they have a large, well managed modern fleet of equipment with experienced operators to meet their needs. Excellent communication, onsite flexibility, changes and problem solving as required along with talented and hard working staff makes for less stress on the home owner. Kudos to Joe and his team.

I have had the pleasure of working with Year Round Landscaping on numerous projects this year, and each time I am absolutely blown away by their work! The way they have incorporated their design into the existing landscape is always incredible, and their workmanship is beautiful as well as functional. I have seen lots of retaining walls over the years, but Year Round Landscaping has some of the best I've ever seen from a structural and design perspective. I have been honored to collaborate on residential design projects with Year Round Landscaping for the past 4 years. The commitment from Year Round to complete a project to the highest possible standard raises the bar for quality landscaping in the Calgary area. We contacted Year Round Landscaping in the winter/spring of 2015 after a recommendation from our home builder. Joe came out to meet us, view our lot and to discuss our needs and wants. He introduced us to Elise, his landscape designer, who then worked with us on those needs and wants to come up with a plan that was custom made for our yard. Elise then took us to view various plants, stone and other products that would be used in our design so we had an excellent visual of what it was going to look like. After a couple of iterations the plan was complete and ready for construction. Joe’s crew began the project in May and was complete by the end of July 2015 and on budget. All of the crew was very courteous, respectful and always kept the yard neat and tidy when they left. The scope of work included grading the front and back yards, removing some old tree stumps, installing a cedar fence with gates, cedar arbours, a feature wall that was constructed from stone of our old house, a back yard retaining wall, two stone patios, two composite decks, designer concrete borders around our front flower beds, large boulders for aesthetics, the planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, sod and installing an irrigation system and landscape lighting. The quality of the work was excellent and we have had numerous compliments from our neighbours and people passing by. Any concerns we had during the project were immediately addressed by Joe and both he and Elise have followed up with us to ensure we were happy. We would highly recommend Year Round Landscaping to anyone looking for a landscaping designer and contractor.
