“We contacted Expert Flooring Solutions to inquire about removing our builder-grade tile and carpet (approx. 900 sq. ft.) for more durable/attractive tile throughout the main living areas and bathrooms, as well as wood in the bedroom/closet (300 sq. ft). For the first phase (tile), Shawn explained the process for choosing the tile and came out within a day to check out the areas and discuss the actual installation timeline. We chose our tile (thank you Emser Tile!), Shawn got back to us with the final bid, and we arranged an installation date. The entire tile job took a week and, yes, there is dust everywhere!! Unfortunately, that’s the reality of removing old tile and installing new (Shawn warned us, and we packed whatever we could before the installation). Earl and Stuart (Expert Flooring installers) arrived promptly the first day and got to work immediately removing the old tile/carpet and prepping the floor. They were careful with our furniture, and cleaned up wherever possible. This team worked tirelessly the entire week and were ALWAYS friendly, informative and completely dependable. For the 2nd phase (wood), John, Matt, Chris and Nathan showed up on time and completed the job in a day. Again, they were respectful of our belongings and installed beautiful hardwood floors with a cheerful, accommodating, professional attitude – nothing is ever a problem and it seems they can do just about anything! The team at Expert Flooring has many many years of experience and brings true craftsmanship to the job – they are all artisans, and clearly enjoy what they do and take pride in their craft. “We met Daniel through an online site. He answered us in a timely manner and set up an appointment that worked for all of us. He was very professional, honest and kind and that is the kind of people we like to work with. He gave us a competitive bid within a few days and told us he could start whenever we had the flooring (we already had existing flooring we wanted to match). Once we had our flooring he started the project the very same week. He came out on a Saturday, himself, to level out our dining room and told me the crew would be out on Tuesday around 8am. Bright and early on Tuesday morning at 8am, his crew was there. The guys were SUPER professional, hardworking and really kind. They confirmed with me everything I wanted, confirmed with their foreman and got to work. I’ve hired companies before but these guys were on a different level. The floors weren’t able to be done fully on Tuesday as we ran out of flooring but they came back on Thursday to finish and Friday for any touch ups. Essentially it took them 1 1/2 days to get my entire bottom floor of my house done. They went above and beyond and I will most definitely be hiring Daniel and his crew again.
