“Last year we had Blue Sky Painting replace some of our cedar siding, repair a door frame, and repaint the entire exterior and our decks (but not deck railing). Adam was prompt and very friendly and courteous when coming out to do the estimate, drop off the color book, or answer any questions we had. Saul and his crew worked efficiently and they cleaned up the area very well. Their estimate was not the cheapest, but we felt they were reasonable and reliable. For the least expensive quote we got, the contractor proposed using deck paint on our cedar siding...which we felt was very suspect. Probably the only issue that happened was the white paint on our deck railings chipped a bit when they power washed everything before painting. That wasn't expected, but not their fault. The paint was just older than we expected. We did not ask them to paint them as an addendum to our contract.”

“In May 2011, we had our exterior painted by CertaPro Painters. I recommend them and would use them again. Their bid was not the lowest but it was very competitive. They showed up on time and finished according to schedule, even though they needed to work around a few rain storms. One thing to consider. When painting wooden trim often there are areas where sections of wood trim needs to be replaced. Until they get into the project it is difficult to impossible to determine how much work will need to be done to make those repairs. Since I may not always be around I gave Certa approval to perform necessary work up to 20% over the initial estimate for repairs. Anything over that would need to be approved in advance. Their estimate was spot on and if I recall correctly they only went over their intitial carpentry quote by $50.00 To be honest I expected it to be much higher. The cost to paint our trim, we have pre-painted windows, was less than $2,000. This was for one coat. Since we stayed with the same color only one coast was needed. We had the vinyl siding power washed at a cost of less than $400 and they power washed our small deck and front porch at no additional charge. It took several days. As promised everything was cleaned up when they left for the day. CertaPro was easy to work for. They delivered on time (time granted due to rain) and under budget.”
