As homeowners, my wife and I drew up some napkin sketches of some column lighting and presented them to Attraction Lighting for an estimate. Throughout the bidding process, Lyle was attentive and engaged. Once awarded the project, he was patient and supportive through the final design process, and then came through with precisely what we were hoping for back at the napkin stage. Attraction Lights made a custom bollard for the Landscape Lighting Exhibition made possible by the International Landscape Lighting Institute in Brunswick, NY. As part of 10 areas of permanent landscape lighting to share the wonder of night lighting in a residential setting with everyone, this bollard integrates with the lighting of the landscape features in a kitchen garden space. The glow and patterns it produces intrigue everyone.

NightScenes Landscape Lighting Professionals has been installing the Attraction Lights outdoor lighting fixtures for several years now -- and will continue to do so in the future. Initially, the artistic aspect of the fixtures caught our eye. The rustic rust finish is a good fit in central Texas landscapes. The variety of designs offered also makes it easy to match the style and taste of the homeowner. The fixtures radiate a beautiful grand pattern at night, but are also interesting to see during the day. There are many times when we need to place pathway lighting in turf areas of a property to insure people can move around safely at night. Installing a regular single stem path light is never a good idea in these areas where foot traffic exists and lawn maintenance tools are used since they tend to get knocked around, tipped over or completely broken. An Attraction Light fixture is made of steel and it doesn’t have a single stem which means it’s very sturdy. It’s the only fixture I’ll use in my designs when I have to place a fixture in the turf. Finally, there is the company itself. There have been times when we have requested that fixtures be made with slight variations in height and they have always worked to accommodate us. We’ve asked them to move the pattern down a little to give us better glare protection when we have extreme elevation changes, and they’ve done that too. They’ve also developed a fixture from an idea we had for lighting at vineyards (which are prevalent in our part of Texas) which is now part of their fixture line. It’s a lot like working with a custom fixture manufacturer! We (and our clients) are happy to have found Attraction Lights, and look forward to a long and rewarding business relationship.

As a landscape lighting contractor, I absolutely LOVE being able to utilize these fixtures in my projects - they are a perfect solution when we need area/path lighting in a grass or hardscape area where normal area/path fixtures won't work, and they also can serve to provide a tasteful and unique focal point grouping to accentuate any area. The fixtures are built like tanks, so will hold up to anything a commercial-style bollard would (if not more) -- the creative and unique shadow patterns you can create with the fixtures can really complement a creative lighting design. I have been utilizing these fixtures for years and would recommend strongly!

I've used Attraction Lights' products on several projects and have been impressed with their simple and effective design. The fixtures are effective as functional light first and foremost. Beyond that, they are a great art piece to add to the landscape, blending in where needed, and standing out if the design calls for it. I am lighting designer/ contractor in the Indianapolis area. I have been installing Attraction lights for several years now, but in 2013 I really made an effort to install attraction lights in my designs instead of the boring, cap and stick path light. My clients had never seen anything like it and absolutely loved the fact that they were made of a durable steel. They also really loved the fact that the light was so unique; you weren't going to see everywhere on the street. The light output is fantastic and the shadow pattern that are cast across the ground and walls are truly amazing. The natural rust finish of these fixtures fits so well into the garden during the daytime, appearing like a piece of garden sculpture. At night though, these lights are an absolute show stopper. The warm color of the lamps causes the interior dark rust/ bronze of the fixture to glow beautifully amidst a setting of soft green plant foliage. Whether using these fixtures as a single focal point for a garden space, or along a set of stairs or walkway for illumination; the timeless beauty of these steel fixtures crosses all boundaries of garden styles from eclectic to traditional. They are even very much at home in a contemporary garden space. I love these fixtures. As an independent lighting designer, these fixtures have become a trademark of my work, distinguishing me from my competitors who continue to install the old boring style of path lights. Attraction Lights was wonderful to work with. We were faced with a very short deadline to complete this project and Lyle came through to help us meet that deadline. Our client was extremely pleased with these custom made light fixtures. The fixtures arrived on site and I was really impressed at the level of detail that was given to the packaging and labelling of the hardware and to the fixtures themselves. These 8 foot spires were installed without any issues because of the time that Lyle dedicated to organizing and thinking of every little nut and bolt that was needed to successfully install these.
