The project involved redesigning the track light system to gain a better aesthetic, provide more light where needed, and to still have the lighting disappear. Also needed to find interesting pendants for the dining area. Sheryl's proposal, expertise, and ideas were far superior to others I received, and really addressed all my competing concerns. She was also very responsive, and I really appreciated the high level of engagement, can-do attitude, and problem solving acumen.

Sheryl totally helped us solve our lighting needs. We needed help updating our kitchen and dining room, away from halogen towards LED. We now have properly dimmable lighting that will save $$$ over time b/c they are LED. Most importantly, the lights make sense and highlight that which we want in the spaces. We're so grateful. We highly recommend her.

We hired Sheryl to help with adding some lighting as a part of a whole house re-wire (removing knob and tube) and we are SO GLAD that we did. It was immediately obvious that Sheryl is an expert in her field. She honed in on the areas that mattered, diving into details that were specific and unique to our space. For the more standard rooms she was able to provide specific direction quickly and efficiently. Her recommendations were very non obvious to me (a person previously ignorant to lighting design) but after she laid out the plan we are super excited by it. The best part of working with Sheryl is how incredibly flexible she was with the engagement. We paid a reasonable fee for an initial consultation out of which she gave us specific direction and recommendations for each room. We had enough information from that meeting to buy lights and communicate with our electrician on our own or we could further engage Sheryl to create a detailed plan, purchase the lights for us, etc. There was no pressure or upselling during our consultation whatsoever, just fantastic and detailed recommendations. We decided to purchase our lighting through Sheryl as she has access to the best brands and the experience to sort through the mind numbing amount of choices for recessed lighting. I wish everything with home renovation was this easy and satisfying as this. I won't ever again install lighting without hiring Sheryl.

Working with Sheryl was a pleasure start to finish. During our two hour consultation, she drafted a lighting plan for our living room, two bedrooms, and bathroom, which I was able to share with an electrician for installation. The process saved me countless hours of research -- after 2+ hours Googling beam angle, percent dimmability, switch compatibility, color temperature, spacing, etc., I gathered that online resources are limited, and lighting is both an art and a science. Sheryl considered our furniture and art layout, fixtures (working around a sprinkler system), and needs based on activity/times of use. Her design was stunning, the lighting fixtures that she recommended beyond expectations. I am an avid DIYer, but I value my time and effort -- I know when to hire an expert. Sheryl is knowledgeable, professional, and responsive, following up during and after installation. I highly recommend her services.

I was fortunate to find Sheryl Klein by recommendation from another professional; a paint color specialist. My goal was to update lighting in a few bathrooms, though I didn't appreciate what wonderful options are available in modern LED lighting. After working with Sheryl and her team, including electrician Francisco, my home was beautifully transformed in ways that I wouldn't have imagined! I also appreciate how Sheryl stayed in touch and focused on making sure everything worked from the beginning of the project until it was complete. We had lived for over 30 years in our craftsman style home but never had adequate lighting in the large living room. We found Sheryl based on other favorable reviews and had her come out for a design consultation.She spent a couple of hours in consultation with us and provided a great design layout and fixture specifications for new recessed lighting. Sheryl was wonderful in helping us select the lighting for our remodeled guest bathroom.
