I have made the mistake of ordering from this company again for a final ceiling light in my home- I have switched out almost all the ceiling lights in my home since 2017 to the lights from ILE- with each order the rate at which I get my order and the customer service gets worse. I understand this is a small company, but the customer service is the worst I have ever experienced- mostly because they will ghost you. I ordered my light on June 10 with a lead time of 6-12 weeks and it's now September 17 and I still don't have my lights. The worst part is that I have reached out several times since the 12 week mark and no one has gotten back to me. The lights are great, the customer service is awful. I'm happy to not use this company again.

Like so many other before me I have been waiting MONTHS (five months and two days to be exact) for my order. Very delayed email response. I was also told it would be shipped in 7-10 business days. It’s over a month since then. Look elsewhere.

Not sure yet if this company is real or not. Ordered my fixture over 4 months ago. Was told it would take up to 12 weeks to deliver. After 12 weeks I emailed them. After a delayed response I was told by David that it would ship in 1-2 weeks and asked if I wanted to pay to "rush" it. After 3 weeks of no fixture, I emailed again and was told it would ship in 10-12 days. It's not been a few more weeks and guess what.... no fixture. I'm not sure if this company is a scam or the one dude who runs it is drowning. If it's the latter then get some help man! Hire some people. Stop making commitments you clearly cannot keep. I hate to contribute to negative reviews with a small business owner but take come accountability and don't over commit. And get your act together.

ive been waiting for 5 months for wall sconces. no response on multiple inquiries. terrible customer service and i would never recommend them

Stay away. No customer service when calling or emailing. Money taken out of my account the day of order but email confirmation from ILE does not reference an order number. Still do not have my sconce. Please read the other reviews. This is a common occurrence. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Love my lights! I ordered three custom light fixtures--and received them within 8 weeks (the expected time frame was 6-12). Early on after reading these reviews, I wrote to the company to inquire about my order status and the owner wrote me back right away--excellent communication.These light fixtures make my Brooklyn rental feel boutique--I am very happy with them and would definitely consider ordering more in the future!

I ordered 2 sets of lights as options for my bathroom. I kept one set and they look great. I paid to ship the other back and followed their very stringent return policy perfectly. They never gave me my refund. I emailed them multiple times, mostly they didn't respond at all, once they said they didn't receive the return, so I sent them my tracking and proof of receipt. Nothing. Never got my money back. So the lights I kept are great, but I paid double for them. This company rips people off.

Save yourself a lot of grief and trouble, by shopping elsewhere for a better quality fixture that arrives in a timely manor. I ordered two light fixtures from Industrial Light Electric. After waiting the given timeline for the fixtures to arrive (6-12 weeks) and numerous emails without a response. I finally reached out to Pay Pal for assistance. I believe, if it hadn’t been for a claim filed against Industrial Light Electric, I may not have received the fixtures at all. The two fixtures finally arrived 16 weeks later, without a word or response from Industrial Light Electric. If you do choose to order from this company be aware that your credit card will be CHARGED THE DAY YOUR ORDER IS PLACED, you may not have any recourse with your credit card company after 12 weeks, where as PayPal has 180 days to file a claim or dispute. Appreciate PayPal looking out for the consumer and their policy.

Do Not Buy from them. Ordered (and paid for) a few light fixtures and never received them. No response from multiple emails, no phone number and no way to get a refund. Will report them.

This company stole our money!!! Stay away from them. We bought some sconses in December 2018 and it is now July 2019 and we still do not have them. They will not return any emails. I should have noticed the red flag when they took my money before it shipped!

Ordered one light that was estimated to take 4-6 weeks. It took 16 weeks. Emailed them multiple times to ask for an update and never got a response. Would never do business with them again.

These lights look great in the listing, but are in fact just cheap junk. Just compare the photos of the listing compared to the pictures of what I received. I ordered a set of four, the order was weeks late; and when I emailed them multiple times asking about order status, they lied to me multiple times saying the order had shipped (when it hadn't) and even sent me a fake tracking number. When the lights arrived, the light shades had not even been powder coated/painted (see pictures 1 &2). Their customer service rep was ridiculously slow to respond, claimed they were correct even when I sent photos showing that they were clearly not finished, only primed. Finally they did agree to replace the shades; (which again arrived weeks and weeks later than they promised). The finished shades I received were so poorly painted they look like a child spray painted them in the garage (see photos 3 & 4 of the incomplete paint job , spots, etc.) the bottom line is that these lights are over-priced junk and this seller provides terrible customer service.
