As a Designer, I always need to find specific fixtures for my different projects. The staff never cease to amaze me. In reno'ing our townhome, Norburn was very professional and knowledgeable, providing lots of great advice on how best to swap out the original "builders special" lighting with upgraded and updated lighting. When I purchased my new home I was looking for some new lights and a chandelier. I spoke to a number of different lighting stores and found the representatives at Norburn Lighting to be very helpful. They helped me choose the perfect piece that complimented my house and it was exactly what I was looking for! I will be going back when I need to complete my renovations.

We hired Norburn to completely renovate the lighting in a three bedroom townhouse. Pros: good selection of lighting Good reputation Established business Cons: our lighting designer left Norburn near the completion of our project which left lots of loose ends. Follow up on returning items not used wasn't ideal. Our electrician had no experience with rail lighting. We were given his name by Norburn's lighting designer. He completely ignored direct orders from me and left us with a drywalling mess ($300 to repair patches). In addition, it took much longer to complete because he kept making errors. Attempts to remedy this situation were not satisfactory. We went through two managers at Norburn before resolving the issue. We found out 2 years later that the transformer was not installed correctly and almost had a fire. The burned out module was replaced by the lighting manufacturer and Norburn paid a small portion of the repair bill. I highly recommend utilizing an electrician hired privately that has experience with your project.
