I had the BEST experience with SLABlite, Inc. I live in Florida, and I contacted this California company because they are specialists in the project I wanted to do. I wanted to uplight the quartzite on my bar. I had never done a project like this so I sought guidance. Richard Ashoff was incredible and made the process easy. I gave him the measurements of my bar top and he let me know how many lights I needed to order. He explained the entire process to me- including the need to examine the quartzite to see if there were imperfections which would lead to a bit of a different installation process. Richard was patient and helpful. Even though he had explained things clearly to me, I asked if it would be okay for my contractor to call him directly. He spoke with my contractor directly so he felt comfortable and well-equipped to install the lights. My up-lit bar looks INCREDIBLE! The lighting is even and beautiful! Richard shared the dimmer requirements so that I could even have a dimmer feature for my beautiful bar top. Just absolutely amazing customer service with an amazing product. I am grateful that I was able to achieve what I had hoped . Being across the country from SLABlite didn't create an obstacle for my project.

Success! We recently completed a remodeling of our kitchen with the centerpiece being a 4’ x 6’ Cristallo quartzite island illuminated by SLABlite’s patented product. The 24-panel installation was easily fabricated on-site per the instructions provided on their website. The service support was excellent from product ordering to delivery to installation. Richard was readily available to answer our questions and even reviewed our panel layout for improvements. SLABlite’s product achieved the uniqueness and beauty we were looking for in our kitchen island.

I used SlabLite tiles to back light some quartzite panels in my bathroom. They provided a very nice even light throughout the stone.

My experience with SLABlite, Inc. was great even though I did not use the product on my particular project. SLABlite provided excellent guidance and shipped to me some sample tiles to mock-up with a quartzite slab that my Client had purchased. The mock-up demonstrated that the slab was not translucent enough to create the desired effect. I am very grateful to have followed their suggestion to test the product before investing money and time on something that would not have worked.

I purchased 65 Slablite panels about five years ago for my kitchen island countertop. I absolutely love this addition and the lighted countertop is the talk and love of ALL our friends. We leave it on all the time as it just makes the entire kitchen glow. Finding the right stone to go on top was also a key. I love this product so much that I’m moving to another home and am already remodeling a perfectly fine kitchen in order to use Slablite there to make it AMAZING, too. Don’t forget about your bathrooms either, I’m not!

I researched under-counter lighting and came across Slablight. I own Alignment Construction in Florida and work on many remodels. I enjoy bringing innovative lighting to projects and fortunately I was able to use Slablight on a project on St. Pete Beach. The installation must be thought out but it is manageable and i learned some efficiency tricks to use later on for future installations. The final results is a beautifully lit 3x6 kitchen island and everyone that sees it is extremely impressed. I look forward to installing more of this product whenever I can.

I purchased 10 Slablite squares to do a bathroom counter top with stone mosaic on top. Richard was so very helpful in advising me on the best way to do this as I couldn't find anyone who had done this before. The lights are working well.

This is my third time purchasing from this company. As an interior designer, it’s important for me and my clients to spec products that are reliable and work the way they are supposed to. Easy installation and results in a beautiful end product. Dick is amazing and so helpful. He’s always available to answer questions from me or my installer. He even gave us his cell in case we needed to reach him after hours.

SLAB lite has been a wonderful company to work with! We were quoted an extremely high number from another lighting company, and I found SLABlite on the internet. Dick walked me through every step of ordering, and I have had the privilege of meeting him twice in person to pick up my lighting materials. He has met with me twice on a Saturday when I am up in Irvine for other activities, to save on shipping costs. The light panels were installed on my kitchen island, wine bar and powder room by my general contractor. I could not be happier with this product and with the owner! My project is not finished yet, but I will add more photos when it is done.

I have had the pleasure to work with SLABlite and I can attest that the product is amazing. The light emitted was so bright we had to install dimmers. The light was even without voids nor does it show lineal lines or shadows like most other companies. The product was extremely simple to install and wire. Best experiance I have had with this application. Awesome product and exceptional support.

We almost made a HUGE mistake and attempted to back-light our natural quartzite counter top with mesh lighting. Thank goodness we found Slablite and did it the right way! It's absolutely beautiful with a natural-looking light, without hot spots or shadowing. Dick (owner) was amazing and helped us every step of the way. First he provided his cell phone number so we could call him anytime with questions. He also provided an easy to follow layout that made installation a breeze. It went exactly as planned.
