Lighting Companies & Designers Near Lexington

“Deborah was very helpful with ideas for our home, which lacked closet space, and was generally disorganized. We were not ready to engage in a full project, but she gave us valuable tips on placement of our existing furniture & fixtures. We discussed larger upgrades we could make (requiring carpentry & light construction) when the time was right. Her eye for balance in rooms and aesthetics of areas like open shelving were very helpful. Thank you Deborah!”

“Working with Back Construction on our complete condo renovation in downtown Lexington was an absolute dream from start to finish. Managing a full-scale renovation long-distance from Atlanta could easily have been a stressful nightmare, but this team made the entire process seamless, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. I cannot recommend them highly enough. **Communication & Project Management** From our very first in-home meeting, communication from David Toews was exceptionally clear. David guided us through ideating concepts, negotiating a fair contract, and finalizing every detail and scope item without any ambiguity. Design details were seamless thanks to Designer Kim Luckett—her talent, skill, and vision are truly incredible. Because we were living out of state, alignment was everything: * **Weekly Virtual Check-ins:** Project Manager Mike Seelbach kept us completely up to date on milestones, sending progress photos almost daily. I felt involved in every step of the way. * **Monthly On-Site Visits:** Scheduled progress walkthroughs allowed us to review updates and make decisions together. Mike, James, and Shaun always arrived prepared with specific questions regarding carpentry and design details. Because the team was so organized and focused, we accomplished an incredible amount during these visits. * **Problem Solving:** On the rare occasion an unforeseen issue popped up, Mike led the charge with grace, complete transparency, and kindness. His direct, informative communication made decision-making simple. I genuinely cannot imagine this project without Mike leading it! **Workmanship & Custom Craftsmanship** The quality of execution delivered by the carpentry team—James and Shaun—was simply outstanding. Craftsmanship like this is rare today. They installed custom wainscoting, crown moulding, and detailed woodwork throughout, transforming our unit into an elevated, custom dwelling. Every joint, edge, and finish reflects top-tier skill that will allow this home to age beautifully for years to come. **Budget & Timeline** Remarkably, the project was completed **on time** and **on budget**—a rare achievement in residential construction that speaks volumes about Back Construction's integrity and organization. We could not be happier with our new home! If you need a contractor in the Lexington area who delivers flawless craftsmanship and total peace of mind, look no further than Back Construction. Speak with David Toews about your project, have Mike Seelbach manage it, watch Kim Luckett design it, and let James and Shaun bring it to life. I can't wait for you to meet this team. Welcome home!”

“Angela and her team did an incredible job! They were on time and on budget. I look forward to working with them again on future projects!!”
