“Sandra and Josh of "A Work of Art" took our very plain white plaster fireplace and mantle and in just one afternoon, transformed it into a beautiful centerpiece for our living room. The wonderful faux finish makes it look like old weathered stone and it is just lovely. They were both great to work with, very prompt and professional, and the price was amazing for the quality of work performed. Sandra even sent Josh out to do a touch up for me a year after the project was originally done, at no cost. I can't say enough great things about this company and would never hesitate to recommend them or use them for future projects.”

“Shaun has wonderful design sense and an eye for detail, and his work reflects this aesthetic sensibility. He did a wonderful job helping me choose colors, and make the spaces flow into one another. The Venetian plaster is beautiful , and I believe of high quality( although this is the first I have seen up close for more than a glance, so my experience is limited). As always, there are changes that occur and he handled these gracefully. We had major scheduling issues with the other contractors, so hard to comment on the ability to meet deadlines. When I was ready, he already had other work going, so there were waiting times. But as the projected start date kept changing, I can't fault him for not being immediately available.
He was responsive for small touch ups after he had finished.
My project was not fancy and he did a great job. I think where he really shines is on the more elaborate faux finishes!”

While the paintings were lovely online, they were all the more beautiful up close. Julie was warm, welcoming, and I felt no pressure at all to make a purchase.
