“I have had the pleasure of working with Jenn on multiple projects over the past 7 years. The projects have ranged from a single room design to helping design a house from the ground up. Jenn worked with the architect to design everything from placement of the windows and electrical outlets to the interior design. Most recently, she provided a design to update our 15 year old home in preparation prepare to sell it. Ironically, we love the updates so much that we decided to keep both homes. “To say we are happy with our home is an understatement! Stephanie was like a design angel sent to us during a very stressful renovation. We basically gutted our downstairs last winter and Stephanie was the best part of that process. Once we got to the point where we needed to start filling our new open concept downstairs we were spent and had no idea where to start. I had watched plent episodes of Fixer Upper and knew we wanted something like what they pull off on the show but really had no idea where to find the furniture, accents or decor. I figured it would take us years to accomplish this look. We met Stephanie at OP Jenkins and our prayers had been answered! Not only did she help us pick the pieces and help us place them in the house but she picked accent tables, rugs, lighting, and decor. It was like we walked into a one-stop shop with everything we could ever want! When I told her what we were going for and a color palate she hit the ground running almost like she was in my head. She just knew! I can’t belive my house is finished and it looks like something out of a magazine. I can’t belive it isn’t taking countless weekends of searching for “the look”. “I have known and worked with Sally McFalls for nearly 30 years. In that time, she has made all 5 of my homes during that time so special. And she has become my friend.... I'm not a shrinking violet and actually know what I want and like. Sally has always encouraged my creative side and likely bit her tongue a time or two when she knew she could improve upon the design, but realized my ideas or possessions were important to me. In essence, she takes what I think I like and turns it into something I adore. I let her know up front if the project requires all of the bells and whistles, or if it is on a strict budget. She works her magic in either case. Whether it be custom window coverings or bed design, cozy or elegant furniture, artwork, rugs, wall coverings - I know she will create the design that feels like me - only better. How can one person know how to coordinate SO many gorgeous fabrics?!! No wonder her rooms in the Symphony Showhouse consistently win over its visitors! And not to forget Josh Maniaci, what an asset he is as the other designer at Cottage Door, and I have loved getting to know him as he applies his design attitude to my projects. We've been working on home number 5 for a few months now and I cannot wait to see my new master bedroom installed soon!!!!”
