“For the longest time my husband & I were looking for the right company that would remodel our outdated 20 year old house. We found that company & they are great! We went with Royal Remodeling & Design who have a showroom in downtown Sarasota! The whole crew was super! Always on time, started at 8am and finished at 5pm everyday until project was done. Clean, polite and very professional! It was a big job! Complete bathroom remodel with frameless glass doors, shaker cabinets & Cambria quarts. New porcelain tile wood planks, new baseboards & complete repaint. After the remodel, our home now looks modern & beautiful! We are really happy. Thank you Royal Remodeling & Design for the fantastic job, you really deserved the “word of mouth”!”

“Having bought a house with "good bones," but outdated, we were willing to tackle lots of DIY projects. The complete gutting and reconfiguration of the master bath was not one of those projects, however. We visited the big box kitchen and bath departments and a number of local contractors. We came upon DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in the process and visited their design studio. After a couple of conversations with Ernest Gilbert, the owner, and a thorough check of references (including BBB and Angie's List) we asked Mr. Gilbert to visit our home and prepare a quote. To be honest, it wasn't the lowest. But we liked the thorough approach -- including a consultation with a designer on the firm's staff -- and signed a contract for the work to begin. It was a mess, for certain, but daily clean-up was done scrupulously by the staff and the attention to detail was outstanding. We're picky, but the lead carpenter on the job was even more so. He rejected work by subcontractors we might have easily accepted and never relented until the finish was perfect. We have had contractors do jobs for us in the past -- from additions to complete new construction -- but this experience was the best. We liked the result so much we have hired DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen to now renovate our kitchen.”

A short time after the meeting the plans were shown to us and they were perfect! We are now a few months into our renovation and Mr. Phipps has been available for questions and changes as needed. “I am writing this unqualified recommendation on behalf of Mont Hartman, with whom my wife and I have worked closely over the past year on what became a major residential renovation project in Sarasota, FL. Mont Hartman assumed the role of Project Manager soon after we designed and contracted for what was then planned to be a limited condominium remodel. Mont brought himself “up to speed” quickly and then reached out to us to meet and refine our goals and the scope of our project. Throughout our renovation Mont was responsive, respectful and creative. His vision, team leadership, broad range of knowledge in all areas of our project (design, permitting, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, counters, tile, flooring, painting, electronics, etc.) and problem-solving skills were the critical factors that have led to a wonderful outcome with which we are very pleased. As is often the case, our project changed and expanded as we proceeded. Mont handled these modifications smoothly and efficiently and with good humor. Mont also needed to deal with some unusual additional challenges. The project was undertaken in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic with resultant difficulties in coordination and supervision of subcontractors, supply chain disruptions and safety concerns. In addition, the bulk of this renovation was undertaken remotely, since our primary residence during this project was in NYC. Nevertheless, Mont was able to keep us well-informed and involved on all aspects of the project with his regular texts, detailed emails, pictures and FaceTime calls. We feel fortunate to have worked with Mont and his team. Their work ethic, experience, integrity, skills, maturity and advocacy are exceptional. We are pleased to recommend Mont Hartman and his team enthusiastically and without reservation.”
