“Troy and Mick were respectful & professional while spending the better part of 8 months in our home renovating our upstairs to create a walk-in closet and playroom area, replacing our railings & bannisters, while also finishing our basement. Pricing was done on an hourly basis. Custom work was completed on a featured reclaimed barnwood wall and walnut bar top as well as the railings & bannisters.”

“We selected Buchan to build our dream home after a long and extensive search. Our project had a lot of special challenges including access, shoreline restrictions and a schedule which had us out of town most weeks. So we were looking for a builder with a proven track record, someone who would be highly flexible while also bringing an innovative and fresh perspective to guide us. Despite having built before this project was more complex so complete trust was also essential. Buchan rose to the occasion and wholly came alongside us. Surely Buchan had many other projects going besides ours but we'd have never known it. It felt like they were building just for us. They were expert guides, leaning in where we needed it, backing off where we were firm. It was both a very professional engagement yet felt very personal. We are in our new home and absolutely love it. Only thing would have done differently is not spend so much time looking for a partner! Highly recommend Buchan and definitely would build with them again.”

“We spoke with numerous builders and started our building project with one other builder before finally finding Freese Custom Homes, and are so glad that we found them and decided to have them build our home. Todd was amazing to work with from the very beginning planning process all the way through to following up after we moved into our home. Instead of working with an architect, we had Freese Custom Homes design our house based on some ideas we had and are incredibly happy with the floorplan and design we ended up with, not to mention the cost savings over using an architect. Todd was able to design a house that was laid out just like we wanted, and also made sense from a builder's perspective so there were no architectural surprises during the building process. Communication throughout the build was great, which was very important as hiccups related to covid supply issues arose. Todd was able to work around all of the issues that came up and found reasonable alternatives when the selections we chose were no longer available. The end product is above our expectations and we couldn't be happier about how it turned out. If I had another building project in the future, Todd would be my first choice without hesitation.”

Sonny and his team were fair, timely, responsive, hard working and highly professional. Specifically, Sonny’s friendly and warm demeanor made communication easy and straightforward. We truly felt as though he had our best interest in mind. In addition, Sonny’s eye for design offered expert assistance in making certain aesthetic decisions about the design and finish of our home. The finished project was not only solidly crafted, but beautiful, as well. We readily refer Sonny and his team at US Builders Team to family and friends and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again in the future.”

“We hired this company in 1991 to custom build our 3200 square foot home. This is a family owned business and at that time was owned and operated by Mike Ritzman's mom and dad. They were terrific. They were on time, they were pleasant and they even returned some of our money. In the ensuing years I have had them remodel a rental property I have, plus a $30,000 repair when a large tree fell onto the roof. A couple of years ago I had them build a custom garage of about 1550 feet. This is the $50,000 - $100,000 listed in this review. Once again they did it on time and on budget. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work, whether new construction or a remodel.”

“It’s been almost 4 years since we remodeled our kitchen and powder room and added a deck and we continue to love the result! Working with Charter made the remodel a fun and gratifying experience. We were – still are – delighted with their quality work, commitment to staying on time and within budget, and personable service. The project involved the complete demolition of our existing kitchen and powder room, bumping out two external walls and one internal wall, completely rebuilding the kitchen, and adding a deck. We also had them rebuild a set of exterior cement stairs that connect the house to the street. We found the Charter team to be highly professional, personable, and very easy to work with. They were on time, followed through on what they offered, developed a time line and cost estimate and stayed on schedule and on budget. They went above and beyond on a number of occasions – negotiating the best price and finding resources for us. Our project was incredibly well managed and appeared seamless. We were amazed and delighted with the coordination and timely execution of our project. I can’t rave enough about working with Charter. Whenever the topic of construction or remodeling comes up, I sing Charter’s praises. Dependability, reliability, caring, dedication to the job, quality work, on task, on schedule, on budget are all words I use to describe their work. We are delighted with our project.
