“My wife and I have used Brad at Custom Builders many times since 2016 when we purchased our home from them. We purchased our home while already under construction and had our first of many positive experiences with them finishing the construction to our tastes and design. Since 2016 we have had them do multiple big projects. A year after moving in, we had Brad and his team back to finish our basement where we added a full bath, office/bedroom with a built-in desk and walk in closet along with a large family room space aka man town. May 2022 was our most recent project, where we had them back both expand our deck and add a garage under the deck. We couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, all of our experiences were nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, Brad and his team demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and expertise throughout the entire process. They took the time to understand my vision for the project and provided valuable insights and suggestions to enhance it further. “As a commercial construction builder, I knew I needed a builder I could trust, who would treat me fairly and would allow me to be a part of the process. Michael Caraviello was just that partner. When my house plans were finished, I went out to three different contractors to get pricing. All the bids were within 10% of each other and Michael was not the lowest. But, after two hours of going over the estimate, it was clear to me that Michael understood the drawings and most importantly what we wanted. From the initial estimate meeting to the conclusion of the final punchlist item, Michael was there for me when I needed him every step of the way. Our home was finished on time and on budget. Moreover, we were able to make changes to various details of our home because Michael was completely transparent explaining our options and the potential cost implications. Michael answered my questions, no matter how simple and how many times I needed to ask the same one over again. My wife especially appreciated his attention to detail and how patient he was as we thought through some decisions. He also had great design and finish suggestions which resulted in the final house exceeding our expectations. Michael thought through details long before the phase that they were needed. He was able to identify potential issues with the construction of the home well before we even started construction, helping us to avoid potential cost overruns. “We hired Saltsman Brenzel to build a new house on the site of a demolished house. We had completed 2 construction projects in the past, with different companies, and our experience with SB was superior in every way. The design of the house is sensitive to the neighborhood and the site, while incorporating our requests. The design/build aspect was seamless, from permitting all the way through to finish work. The budget was kept track of with regular meetings & weekly spread sheets. I would highly recommend SB for a productive, low-stress, and enjoyable construction experience.”
