“Jamie and his team recently completed an extensive renovation of my condo. The project included new wood flooring for the entire first floor, four different tile projects, installation of a glass railing system, custom wood wall covering as well as several small projects. The craftsmanship of everyone involved was fantastic. The attention to detail throughout the project was amazing. Jamie is very knowledgable and was a tremendous help to me as my vision of what I wanted evolved. The transformation of my space is phenomenal and I would not hesitate to recommend Jamie.”

“After initial delays due to supplier and subcontractor problems, and some communication issues, Omega came through with a wonderfully bright and useable new laundry room in what had been a dungeon of a basement. Dee Popovic (designer) and Jesse Oliver (project manager) figured out a way to adapt a layout we'd seen online into something that would work in our very tight basement space. Alan VanderMeer and Clay Sturgeon worked skillfully and tirelessly to manifest it. Although the project took longer than expected, we are very pleased with the final result. We got not only a new washer dryer, but a lovely room and - best of all - much needed storage space.”

“I have used Odd Fellows Contracting at least five times in the last ten years. I have even recommended them to my parents. Odd Fellows has always had experienced professionals do my jobs, the people have been friendly and take pride in their work. They do a great job of cleaning up during and after the job. The jobs they have done have been, dig out and redo a crawl space; redo two bathrooms; replace a outside wall and place new flooring down; repair a garage roof as well as replace sections of a covered walkway roof and place new supports for the walkway. My parents were very pleased with the basement ceiling and lighting that was done for them. Odd Fellow is my go to contractor. (the date and cost is for the last project they did for me.)”

“Our kitchen was trapped in the 1970's, and there did not seem to be an easy way to bring it into the present. Brenda walked us through the design process with ease. She has a wealth of ideas, and steered us towards likewise-creative professionals to help with each aspect of the project. She is a design genius - taking careful note of what we liked, where we wanted to end up, and found such a creative way to get us a kitchen better than we ever could have envisioned. We love our new kitchen! It is exactly what we wanted, and is the perfect blend of function and fun. She has also helped design our adjoining family room space, giving us a new dining area. Hiring Brenda from B-Squared Design Studio was one of the best decisions we made for our project. We would recommend her to anyone wanting to breathe new life into their home.”

“The guys at Elevation Construction and Design were fantastic to work with. Not only were they genuinely nice guys, they were flexible, communicative, and reliable. Plus, the quality of their work was great! There were a couple of challenges during the project that were out of their control but they did everything they could to keep on schedule and ensure high quality work. Truly, these guys went above and beyond what I’ve seen from anyone else. I’m obsessed with my new kitchen and I highly recommend these guys for any of your construction/renovation needs!”

“Brian's team was stellar start to finish. The demo of our 1950s bathroom was challenging but the crew was positive and diligent and sweated it out :) The rest of the finish crew (and subs) were friendly, prompt, collaborative, thorough and professional throughout. Communication was really good and the end result is transformative. Very pleased with the whole experience, and the ROI is very high. So glad we found Lakanen Consulting.”

“We had all of our windows replaced and a new garage built. Derek replaced all of our windows and wrapped the outside of the windows, they look wonderful. Amber Valley also built a new garage for us, it was a good experience. If we had any questions or concerns it was addressed right away. After each day he followed up with us to see if we had any questions. Great job.”

We are blessed to have met Ryan and 42º North to help educate us on the process, and point out specific things we never thought of. Ryan has been the single most important asset in our home-build process – not only designing us a house we absolutely love, but also looking out for our best interests when dealing with other parties, such as builders, vendors, etc. The integrity that the guys at 42º North have is rare, and something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. They are swift to hold your hand through the process, and the design work is top-notch. Ryan’s communication is also amazing, making the process with him stress-free and easy going. 42º North is the only architecture firm we will ever recommend and use should we decide to build again.
