You want to sell your house, quickly and profitably. Buyers respond to houses that look like a home, a place they can see themselves in. Where they can imagine entertaining, relaxing, having fun and being at peace. A house with flow, organization, color and that special something. That is where I come in. By working with me you'll know exactly what you need to do to show off your property and get it sold. I'll determine where to place furniture, color recommendations, what accessories to display and what to pack away. I will help identify and prioritize any repairs if needed, to be completed before going on the market. I have a team of professionals that I trust to do the work while I supervise the timing, budget and quality. If any additional finishing touches need to happen, such as a centerpiece or an area rug, I'll find just the right items and get them in place before the open house.

Most people don’t have the time or confidence to transform their space, let alone know what they want. They only know they want something different and unique. I take the time to understand my client’s personal preferences, interests and budget then provide as much information as needed to ensure that we have a mutual understanding. Whether we work with existing pieces or begin with new pieces, we will create the right look that’s balanced and inviting and looks amazing!
Amy Pearson is an interior designer and design team member at Adapt Design, a Portland based interior design studio committed to creating environments that fit their client’s needs. Whether it’s remodeling your existing home or designing your new home, Amy will guide you through the process from start to finish and has the knowledge and experience to plan and design a beautiful and functional space. Amy’s passion for interior design began as a young girl after listening to the architect and designers involved in her parent’s major home remodel. At every opportunity during the project Amy asked questions, constantly seeking to understand every aspect of the build and why decisions were made. That same hunger for knowledge is a corner stone to how Amy operates her business, including continuing education and advancing technical skills, as well as how she manages the projects of her clients, always focused on their needs and desires. Amy is committed to collaboration with her clients, respecting their unique needs and wishes. “My projects are not about me as a designer, they are about the needs and dreams of the client. In the end, they are the designers! I empower the client, and bring focus and cohesion to the design plan.” Though life took Amy down several different paths, the passion for interior design never faded. After graduating college, getting married, staying at home with her two beautiful children, Amy finally decided it was time to pursue her lifelong dream. As a wife, and a mother of boy and girl twins, Amy’s family is her entire world! Armed with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portland and a Certification from Heritage School of Interior Design, Amy is committed to bringing the same level of passion and love she has for her family into the family homes of her clients, creating functional and beautiful spaces that reflect their personalities and lives. “It is an honor to be invited into a client’s home, working together to design a space that they love and are proud to share with friends and family. It is rewarding to create an environment that speaks to them and their personalities.”

With 30 years of experience and an architectural background, I specialize in honoring the vintage of the home in all of the details that make the difference! I am a meticulous designer who operates from an inner constitution of intentionality and specificity in my design process. I take a holistic approach to design and I notice features that many overlook. My specialties include Mid-Century Modern, Victorian, Craftsman and modern custom new construction. I love making the tiniest of spaces function maximally, and when it comes to color and furnishings, I have an art director's eye and seek out unique pieces with a mix of vintage and new that both function and tell a story to turn the reality of house into the dream of home. I am based in Portland Oregon and also have a satellite office in San Francisco. I look forward to partnering with you on your project!
