Steve and Ginny worked with us in choosing the right Stone to replace the existing one we had. We were so impressed that we hired them to replace our back splash in the kitchen at the same time. For our backsplash we had 32Sq ft of Subway tile placed with a platinum groute. Our island went from a 20Sq ft dark granite slab to a 35Sq ft white Silestone slab with under-mounted sink. “Jesus Martinez and his team are exceptional professional craftsman whom I hired after searching and auditioning several others. This was my first large house project and I was reassured by the careful explanations and paperwork we discussed and signed. They helped me prepare the house and described the materials I should procure; they worked steadily and carefully over a period of something like two weeks, several artisans using their time very productively and with care and respect, flexible scheduling around the holidays, always in consultation with me. They did large scale de- and re-construction (second storey floor replaced to be flat enough for porcelain tile) and painstaking, exquisite detail on the seventeen-step stairs. I was kept informed throughout and appropriately trusted them with a key so they could set their schedule (my cats and I moved out for the duration) There were no overruns on material, no unreasonable or unexpected costs. So successful was this project, so happy its results, that I went forward six months later with paint-varnish-and baseboard work with another craftsman, to complete the makeover.”
