“The project was to supply landscaping for the area around a new pool. Torrey Pines (TPLC) was suggested by the pool contractor after an earlier recommended Landscaper proved too inflexible. TPLC provided a plan and was happy to make adjustment to meet our requirements. They were a joy to work with and worked well with the pool company as well. The results were so pleasing that I hired them to redo most of the rest of my landscaping which they did equally well. They provide a high quality service and charge accordingly, but, I believe, fairly,”

“A+ Landscapes just completed a large project for us; installing turf and designing and building retaining walls in both our front and back yards as well as along the side yards. The work they did was exceptional! The Project Manager, Randy, kept us informed at every step and answered all of our questions quickly and completely. The A+ Landscapes crew provide unmatched craftsmanship. They were professional and courteous throughout the entire project. “I hired Nature Designs about 6 months ago to get my landscaping in order. My previous gardeners weren't the best at keeping things as nice as I'd like (although I'll admit they were very inexpensive). I am very pleased with Nature Designs. Very professional, personable, they listen, understand and follow-through with requests and are very pro-active. Ernie was great at getting things started and Teri is a dream to work! The crew is professional and pro-active. Would highly recommend. They aren't the cheapest, but worth the extra $$.”

“As the Landscape Committee Chair for a small Mission Valley HOA, I reached out to Dave Suda Landscaping several years ago to provide monthly maintenace and irrigation services. After working with four different firms, I had grown skeptical of the whole industry. They all talked a good story at the beginning but after a year or two, the quality of work and oversight diminished. The thing I liked most about Dave Suda Landscape is Dave Suda. He's a real person who takes responsibility for his company's work. If you've worked with larger firms you know what I mean! I was tired of dealing with a new project manager every six months. With Dave on board, I have enjoyed a consistent and thorough work process. Dave Suda Landscape has been taking care of our community of 97 homes for over four years now. He has been responsible for over twenty-five thousand dollars worth of planting and irrigation upgrades. His proposals are detailed and competitively priced. I know I can always count on Dave to do the job right!”

“Van Slyke Landscape just completed a re-landscaping of our entire yard, front to back. We could not be more pleased with the job and cannot recommend them highly enough. Every facet of the job was very well executed, with much attention to detail, and the result is truly stunning. For us the process was iterative as we worked thru various ideas about the best approach for our particular site. Van Slyke was very patient and helpful, and it was truly a collaborative process to get to the ultimate design for our yard. All of the workers who were part of our job were professional, personable and hard working - it was obvious that they cared about our job and took a great deal of pride in their work. The site was cleaned up at the end of every day which really helped to make things as nice as possible as we went thru the transformation. The people on the admin side of things were also top notch - the scope of work was clearly outlined in the original bid and in change orders as we went along. Van Slyke worked hard to get us the finished product that we wanted at a price that was within our means. Van Slyke would be an excellent hire for any landscaping project - big or small. Their expertise and execution are truly top of the line. I was actually a little sad to see the end of our work approaching as it was such a positive experience working with them!”

“I hired Proscape several years ago to maintain a xeriscaped front yard and later to install drip irrigation and low-water plants along the perimeter of my home in Chula Vista. I continue to call Proscape every few months for maintenance. Proscape is a family business and what I most love is that the owner (Ross) works and supervises every aspect of his work. I never schedule something and then wonder who is going to show up and what kind of job they are going to do - and that's a wonderful thing! Ross is easy to work with, conscientious, clearly cares about his clients and works hard to make sure everything is done at or above the level of expectation. I highly recommend Proscape for landscaping installations and maintenance!”

“We have worked with Mark Sterk and Columbine Landscape for several years, and they have completed many landscape and hardscape projects for us -- ranging from planting and plant maintenance, to trees, to the construction of patios, a grill area, an outdoor fireplace, and a large dog run. We have always been really happy with the results. Their work is of very high quality. They stand behind their work and will charge for repairs only where appropriate (e.g. damage caused by our dogs). Mark himself is a skilled designer and supervisor and an honest and fair businessperson. His employees (Emilio is who we deal with most often) and subcontractors are all helpful, diligent and skilled. Everything that looks good in our front and rear yards is due to them. Outdoor projects can be expensive, and it is nice to have someone you can trust. Highest recommendation.”
