“We hired Clever Design and Remodeling to remodel our kitchen in our condo. We had met with two other contracting companies and we were given a similar quote as Clever but to be honest, meeting with Gilli gave me a totally different level of confidence than meeting with the others. We replaced most of the carpeting in our home with European Oak wood flooring which is beautiful. We also had the kitchen cabinets refinished and a new stainless steel over the range microwave installed as well as coordinating new sink fixtures and all new cabinet hardware. Recessed lighting was installed in the living room, kitchen, and master bath with necessary patching and all ceilings painted. Roy was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the project -plumbing, electrical, carpentry- displaying true craftsmanship in his work. Gilli was great to work with, she is very detail oriented and he and his team always left our house and the common areas in the condo building extremely clean (cleaner than it was originally, honestly). The Clever Design and Remodeling team really went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and happy with the work. Strongly recommended!!!!”

Took longer, but some of that was me with change orders. Made sure through the entire project we always had in inside toilet. “I was looking for a company to remodel my mom's property in alameda. I heard about this company from a friend and I decided to give it a shot . My mom is 75 years old and not able to communicate so I came to help her. Initially, we wanted to remodel our kitchen but decided to extend our kitchen and dinning room by breaking the wall that divided it. Maor the owner had a lot of layout options to choose from. He is very knowledgeable about design, and offered other possibilities. He also explain the different price between each option .
We decided move forward with the build out and started the work on feb 14th. It took him 6 weeks to finish the project.
My conclusion:
He was almost every day supervise the different crews.
Easy to communicate with. He is very pleasant person, he alway find a solution to any request we had.
The crew was very professional and pass all inspection the first time .
Every day they clean my house and moved their equipment on the side of the house .
They didn't work on weekends for our request.
He helped us choose all the fixtures from different supplier.
Most of the guys speak English and very respectful to both my mom and I.
The prices was fair for the quality of the job. The quality of his work is very high and the finish was super.
Now we are thinking about doing the 2 bathroom and other area of the house. He will definitely be the contractor I choose .
