“My 150 year old house remodel went so smoothly, quickly and on budget with my contractor Mark Magid, owner of Below Magid Construction. He was so professional and creative, but even better, he made the process amazingly fun! Because we were not sure what we would find inside the walls or under the floors of this sweet old house, everyday was an adventure for me with Mark and his high qualified subcontractors. 5 layers of wallpaper, 4 layers of linoleum, oaks floors on top of fir floors, truly vintage kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures and electrical surprises were never a stress, more like an exciting challenge. I would email him a list of questions or ideas, and the same day Mark would answer me and arrive at the site to meet me with suggestions and answers to update but honor the historical value of my home. It's hard for my family and friends to understand that I enjoyed everyday of my challenging remodel!”

“I am a building designer and Schmidt & Schmidt Construction has built many of my projects. I have found them to be a very talented group to work with from office staff to construction workers. They do beautiful work from rough to finish. I have found them to be good problem solvers which can be very important sometimes in remodel or addition projects - not "how do I solve this?" - their attitude is always "here is the issue and this is how we think it can be solved". I my experience, they do excellent work at a reasonable price. I always look forward to working with Schmidt & Schmidt Construction.”

“We hired EPC to remodel two bathrooms and the entryway to our house in Ventura. Gary and Jesse were upbeat and nice to work with. Their skilled staff were all courteous, reliable, efficient, and non-smokers. They were perfectionists and took pride in their work. We are very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the price we paid. Our only minor complaint is that the staff were spread pretty thin across EPC jobs, with our project taking nearly 4 months to complete (longer than projected).”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Hybrid Construction on multiple home improvement projects as well as remodels. Whether the project is large in size or small they are always friendly and professional. They offer design recommendations and suggestions as well as preforming the actual work to get the job done. The owner is always responsive to my many questions and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of the various options that are presented to me for my project. When you hire Hybrid Construction for your project you can be assured that the owner will be on the job site on daily basis, not just at the time that you sign the contract. As we all know, this is not always the case w/ General Construction companies. This is 1 major differentiator in my opinion, between Hybrid and other companies. I have been living and working from my home while construction is being preformed. I truly appreciate Hybrid Construction's attention to detail in both the creative space as well as the day to day cleanliness of the job site. To know that my home will be left neat and tidy and the end of the working day is a relief! Hybrid Construction represents a team of honest, reliable, creative and hard working individuals. I receive frequent compliments on my home and yard all based on the work preformed by Hybrid Construction!”

“I interviewed a number of architects and talked to a couple of references before selecting David Ferrin and Arketype Architects for my rather different project, that of building a two story home on top of an existing stone warehouse, providing three floors plus roof-deck in a tight urban setting. Before I selected him, I was impressed with his "can-do" attitude and examples of some of his thinking outside-the-box. The design work I saw was classy and much of it different. His use of materials tends towards the green but when price becomes an issue, he will demur or come up with an alternative. David is quietly spoken and his demeanor is thoughtful, low-key and confident. The project is still 12 months away from completion (I'm writing this in May 2015 ) so it isn't possible to give you final comment but to this point I have been VERY happy with his work. He is quick to effect changes and is very thorough with his plans, attention to detail (according to several other architects and planners) being well above what is normally produced. I swear this attention to detail is what allowed our plans to get through to permitting in so few hearings.”

“Shane and the Crew at Associated Construction have helped me with several projects spanning over a decade. They have remodeled several commercial buildings, including a restaurant & bar. They also did a major remodel on my house. Craftsmanship, Quality of Work, Job Completion are several of the reasons I have stayed with Associated. I have high traffic facilities that the work performed by Associated manages to hold up to heavy use very well. Very professional & respectful staff from top to bottom at Associated Construction. I highly recommend them for any project. They also have a large network of other trades to help get the job done on time.”
