We would like to express our deepest regret for the inconvenience caused by this unintended mistake.
As we always welcome feedback from our customers, we believe it's only fair to include the response you received from Moore Floors in reference to your concerns.
The day after your job was completed you came to our office to finalize your bill. At that time, you explained to us there were a couple of tiles that you were not happy with and presented pictures. With no questions asked and our sincerest apologies, we informed you the installer will be at your residence the very next day to perform the repair. The installer arrived the following day as planned, but was unable to repair the issue with only two tiles that were left over from the job. We then ordered another box of tile to complete the repair. A couple of days later you sent our office an email with another area that was of concern to you. Within the hour, you received a response that additional tile had been ordered and would arrive the following week (at no cost to you). A date was also provided for the installer to replace the tiles. As planned, the installer will be there next week to perform the repair.
While the mechanics of tile removal are pretty straight forward, most home owners don't realize that the thin-set mud is transformed into a very, very fine powder. Another thing most people don't realize (if your not in that line of work) is the massive quantity of this dust that is produced from the removal of tile. Unfortunately, there's not an effective way to contain this dust once it's airborne. No matter what type of preparation you utilize for tile removal, there will always be a extensive amount of cleaning involved.
