Got my quote (which I thought was a good deal at the time) for a full pack and move. The movers load up everything and tell me my items are taking up more space than anticipated (adds another $600) And because my apartment has stairs they need to add another $150. The price afterwards was higher then other places I looked. They use bait and switch tactics to get customers. At delivery they leave halfway through and I am left with full boxes on top of boxes that I need to deal with myself. I paid for the full unpacking but yet I got stuck doing it… look else where for movers.

They tried to charge over an additional $1k because I didn’t realize I had only a couple of boxes over the amount I initially said…

Do not use this company. Sales states 5-7 days, but the truth is they don't give delivery dates. Who wants to wait over a month to get delivery of their household goods? The truck they sent was too small, so they needed a second day and of course more money. This was for a 10x20 stage unit. The area of the unit is set yet they aren't prepared and want more money. They also load all your belongings, refuse to provide the contracted inventory list and refuse to set a delivery date until the funds clear their bank. I've been told today by Lily (the manager) that they have 21 business days and that they don't guarantee delivery at all. As a military family we moved many times. This company is the worst! They can't even figure out their business hours. Online they list hours everyday, yet only count Monday-Friday. Lies and misinformation is this companies standard.

First off, 1 star is being generous. When considering Alliance you can anticipate unfair business practices. They will change things on you along the process. They will not give you a direct answer. Came and moved my items. Did not show when they were supposed to. Showed up without adequate personnel. Put my personal home address online to garner help from strangers. The bottom line - I paid them not to move my stuff again. I paid an ethical American owned and operated company to handle the rest of my move. I have filed complaints with the state of Florida, federal agencies and law enforcement regarding the practices of Alliance Movers Group. Do not bite on the lower pricing, that’s to get you hooked in. The price will change. They WILL HOLD YOUR ITEMS HOSTAGE. Alliance will not reply to correspondences or phone calls outside of Nancy. Nancy Is the most honest person in the organization. Overall this “company” should be investigated for their practices. No matter what rebuttals they will offer the experience was absolutely deplorable and disgusting. They are not trustworthy and I would recommend to move a sack of potatoes, let alone items that you and your family cherish. If they decide to change things up on you mid-move I’d advise you to have them unload your items and call another company. I am taking the time to submit this review in hopes that I will save someone from an experience like I had with Alliance Movers. My girlfriend, Lex, and I used Alliance Movers to move some of our belongings from NC to NV. When the movers arrived at our home they immediately changed the amount we owed them to move our things. They blamed one of their employees, and said he shouldn’t have quoted us that price. Lex and I were due in Vegas so our hands were tied and I didn’t have any other option but to pay them the higher price. This is only the beginning. The company told us our things would be delivered in NV between 10-14 days. 15 days later we had zero confirmation that our things had even left NC. The customer service representative, Nancy, had little to no info and handled our move with little to no care. Long after we were told our stuff would arrive a truck finally came. This is where things got really bad. You see, not all of our items made it. I was totally heartbroken to find out some of my precious musical instruments were not on the truck. My Martin Acoustic Guitar, Gibson Dobro, and Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 Amplifier were somehow misplaced. I contacted Nancy about this situation several times and she literally didn’t even apologize or even seem apologetic that her company had negligently handled our move. I have filed a claim with their insurance, submitted police reports, and now I am making sure that the public knows how this company operates. I am just sickened that my instruments are gone. I paid thousands to make this move and lost thousands more from my items being lost or stolen. Please reconsider if you are considering using this company.

I am extremely glad that I chose Alliance m Movers. and would definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family. They are priced fairly and competitive. Their customer service was accessible by phone and email, and answered all of my questions very politely. They were fast, professional and friendly. I Moved my furniture and other household item from Boca Raton FL to Brooklyn NY and they packed up my furniture, and They took special attention of my piano as well . I would say that they are very best movers in south Florida for a long distance moves. Thank you so much guys.

I would absolutely recommend Alliance movers!! I have used two men and a truck several times in the past and now in comparison I will only use this company if I need to move again in the future. Rafael and Mark were the best movers that I have ever had. They wrapped each piece of my furniture so thoroughly as if it was their own, never even touched a wall or corner with the furniture. They were so pleasant the entire time and worked so hard.
