“My husband and I hired Adrienne to design and implement a whole house remodel. We found her very easy to work with. She listened to our ideas, wants and needs and created a design that suited us perfectly. The project was completed within budget and the scheduled time. She had a great working relationship with all the subcontractors on our job who not only did great work, but were more than willing to please her and go the extra mile when a surprise or two popped up. Through her collaboration with a local artist she created kitchen and family room tiles and a few pieces of furniture that are unique to our house alone. I would highly recommend Adrienne and would definitely hire her again.”

“Brenda decorated our living/dining/kitchen area as well as our guest bedroom and bath. We asked her to incorporate some of the items we already had as well as all of our furninture, then gave her a small budget for additonal items to tie the rooms together. Then we went on vacation and gave her the house for a week. Our reveal when we came home was great! I was amazed at how different the rooms looked just by how she rearraned the furniture and changed the placement of most of our art. It was a completely different room. And the curtains and acessories she added are gorgeous! It's been about 7 months now and I still sit on my couch and admire how beautiful the space is. She definatley listened to what we wanted and absoltuely delivered.”

He then turned his attention to the furniture that would transform the house into a home. His instincts on which color combinations and style of furniture, rugs, and lighting would work best together were unerringly correct. “Elinor provided design, supply, and overall construction supervision for our home remodel project. She interviewed my wife and I as to our tastes and budget and explained the process she believed would be best for us. Not being pros, we appreciated the time and attention which elinor spent with us. “It was my first time working with an interior design firm, and I chose Hermosa Style Co (after interviewing five other designers) because of their aesthetic, availability, and the price and flexibility of their services. I needed my fireplace re-designed, my kitchen updated, the interiors painted, and help with new furniture selection for my family and dining rooms. I wanted to make the transition from a mid-century aesthetic to a more Tulum-esque global organic vibe, but I didn't have a high-end budget. Heather and Alexa did a site visit, documented my existing furniture and art pieces, and came up with a plan for construction and furniture that did not blow my budget. I am very happy with the final results! The project was executed thoughtfully from start to finish, including project management of the construction phase. The designers really got my desired aesthetic and suggested reasonably priced, but inspired and unique furnishings. Alexa, who I worked with most closely, has an open, honest, and patient attitude. She clearly has a passion for interior design and is an active listener who is able to pivot quickly. She has exquisite taste. The idea to do open shelving in the kitchen, add a casing to the vent hood to match the aesthetic of the new fireplace design, and add a banquette breakfast nook led to big impact without crazy construction costs. When I decided I didn't want to spend money on re-doing the kitchen cabinets, they found quality, affordable knobs and pulls to replace the existing ones, and instructed the contractor to make slight tweaks to the cabinets to make them while not new--definitely more fresh and finished-looking. I would highly recommend the team at Hermosa Style Co!”
