“These folks did a fantastic job,very reliable ,respectful,and kept me and my wife up tp date on the progress and even sent pictures for our approval ,I would highly recommend these folks to all who want to do business with a very professional , honest reliable group of people. These qualities are a rarity these days and it was nice to deal with these folks just knowing you could trust them. The swing bed that I purchased my wife that she absolutely loves was well made and should last a life time, it is made of the best quality wood and easy to put together. I'm not mechanically inclined and it took me and my wife just minutes to put together, all of the hardware was there and easy to use instructions . “I hired Drew Taylor with Carpenters Antiques and Restoration because his business had been around for many years and had a good local reputation. The primary consideration was his assurance the he would be able to refinish my 27 year old stained cabinets which were dreadfully in need of some TLC. Most of the other professionals I consulted wanted to paint my cabinets. This was not what we wanted. Drew's crew were neat and well mannered which was appreciated since I spent a considerable amount of time in my home with them. They made every effort to accommodate my needs while working on this project and our finished product was exceeded my expectations.”

“I always look forward to a trip to GDC Home! I come out with a purchase of some kind almost every time. Although I live in a major metropolitan area (Charlotte), I find the inventory, selection and ease of shopping at GDC one of the most pleasant experiences in decorating. I have used GDC in our primary residence, as well as at second homes in Kiawah and Surry County, NC. Besides major home case goods - furniture, rugs, bedding - they also have a wonderful selection of home accessories and gifts - including books, candles, china/crystal. They also have a very good buyer for jewelry, purses, etc. GDC runs frequent sales and specials as well - we bought multiple upholstered furniture from Lee Industries during their promotion. GDC also helped us get furniture to the residence in NC. Very unfortunate that furniture made an hour or so away from NC residences cannot b shipped to NC but must go through seller first.....but that is not GDC's fault and they have excellent delivery & shipping companies out of Charleston.”

“When building our house on Sullivan's, I happened to walk into Coralberry Cottage with two pillows I liked. That was three years ago and Rutledge has decorated not only that house but another house in the Midlands. She took those pillows and listened to our needs and my color choices and created the perfect atmosphere for both of our homes. She mixed practicality with relaxed elegance. We receive so many compliments on everything Coralberry Cottage provided from our custom made banquette to custom tables to slip-covered furniture to lamps. When I walked into Coralberry Cottage that day, I was not looking for an interior decorator because I have had a few who did not listen to our desires and needs.
