“Kathy is a fantastic asset to have when it comes to design. We worked with her on remodeling our first floor, which included: our dining room, living room, and second entertainment area off the kitchen. She has an eye for putting spectacular color combinations together. I had my heart set on a monochromatic scheme and she definitely delivered. Her knowledge in paint selection combined with sourcing furniture is second to none. She is friendly and professional, always thoughtfully placing items that make sense for our family. Being that both myself and my husband work she made the whole process streamlined and easy. From selections to the finished product it was as if she lifted a weight off of our backs and created a warm inviting environment in the process always staying true to who we are and never losing her signature style.”

“Smart Design helped us with design and install, removing a large old gravel based driveway, and replacing with concrete. They also designed a new entryway and back patio for us. “I helm a women's networking group in New York City and host events monthly. The ladies of M&P Design Group designed the banner that sat at the end of the runway for a June fashion show. All sixteen women who were walking were 'role models' versus 'runway models.' All sixteen were South Asian, which is my brand, and all sixteen were employed in Science Technology Engineering or Math fields. I was making a statement about the jobs of the future, and highlighting the ladies who occupy them now. I asked Julia and Alex to come up with banner design which would serve as the backdrop of every photo taken. They collated all the symbols and designs from the event to-date and created the most stunning design for a runway backdrop. And turned it around in the time they indicated they would. I'm someone who is very focused and gets things done. I appreciate it so much when I find fellow lady entrepreneurs who share the same work ethic--and creativity!”
