“I highly recommend this company! Poul's has done all of our landscaping design and installation since our house was built. We have used their services several times during our phased-in landscaping approach. Their very talented landscape architects' designs are beautiful and they take the time to meet with you to determine the best plan for your specific area, tastes, lifestyle and budget. I really like the fact that they have their own nursery and you can walk their property with a professional to pick out just the right tree or shrub if you want. The trees they planted for us several years ago were amazing and continue to thrive providing us with beautiful shade in just the right spot. Most recently, we've cleared out a brush line and Poul's designed and installed new flowering bushes and perennials which have completely changed the look of our back yard.”

“The Hursthouse team patiently spent many hours developing a detailed and extensive renovation plan for our entire property. Major features of the plan included: --installing a brick paver driveway bordered by a snapcut limestone retaining wall --installing bluestone front entry walk and porch --rebuilding backyard bluestone patio and new courtyard area with water fountain and cast iron fence border --extensive landscape lighting both front and back --installing imported planter urns on pedestals --extensive tree & shrub planting, perennials & ground cover. “We have had Exterra do two projects for our home. First was landscaping the front and side of the house. This involved stone work, plantings and a pergola. We were thrilled with beautiful design and the craftsmanship of installation. The plantings have thrived and after 10 years all the work remains intact. Two years ago, we came back to Pete to have a patio put on the back of the house. This was all brick work and Pete's design was great and worked perfect with what was existing. We had some settling on the patio and Exterra was out immediately to fix it and it is great. We love the work Pete has done with design and the guys doing the install were wonderful. We whole heartedly recommend Exterra designs.”
