In fact, we researched Robbi and her company, as we watched another property in the area undergo its "transformation" by Woodburn and Company. This property is a showpiece in our community and we liked what we saw happening - and hired her. Unlike many landscape architects, Robbi listens. She listens very closely and then translates her client's vision masterfully! She is always on top of budgets, always stays connected and communicates at the highest level. “Bayberry Nurseries helped us chose a unique tree for our home landscape. The Bayberry associates harvested, transported and replanted our Paviflora on our property. They were professional, friendly, efficient, detail oriented, positive happy energy, hard working and a pleasure to have. I kind of feel they are like the landscape geeks! You know, the people who get really excited about plants and trees and know just way too much about them! This unique experience of choosing materials that are growing in the ground and have to be harvested was such a beautiful, joyful process. It's as if they not only care about the people, but they truly care about the trees and environment too. Justin really spent a lot of time to make sure he matched us with the right tree. We feel as if we have adopted into our family, a living energy that we will be happy to care for and watch grow. It was so easy!”

“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“CCHLD turned my dirt yard into a gravel parking lot and pathway to the front door. They did a beautiful with that. Then they turned my weedy, sloping backyard into a three tired, rock wall, garden. There is a firepit and patio at the bottom. They did everything we talked about, within my budget, and it is beautiful. Thanks Chuck and crew for a job well done. “Easy choice … the duo of Jess and Scott McDermott delivers double value - two sets of eyes/ears and perspectives. They really listened to what we wanted. They offered options, rationale and clear communications- no jargon. They collaborated well with our builder and landscaping install team. They hand-selected species at the nursery, they were onsite for delivery and even replaced what did not meet their standards. They followed-up multiple times and came back on-site to check on growth. I will add pics after young plantings bloom. HIGHLY recommend with no reservation.”

Her hand-drawn designs are stunning and her sensitivity to your house, your yard, your personal aesthetic is clear when you see her multiple sketch options. She understands plants and choosing the right plant materials. She understands architecture and construction and designs projects that are buildable and meet all building codes while tackling all site-specific issues.
