“After a fire devastated our home requiring a total rebuild, we were not looking forward to all that would be required to get our family back home. We were fortunate to have met and chosen Sophie Piesse to guide us through this journey. She is creative, understands your wishes and desires and knows how to translate that into beautiful, functional spaces. She is highly creative without being a dilettante. And, she actually enjoys collaborating. Sophie sees space differently and can adapt to the many styles of construction. Our desire was to have a contemporary home that was not 'cold'. She found large pane commercial storefront windows to bring in the light and designed an open floor plan that gave us the gourmet kitchen we wanted (the envy of our neighbors) and plenty of space to move around in including a banquette dining area, a combined family room and screened in porch, and spa bathroom. Sophie also knows how to work with contractors, is technical and exacting and holds people accountable. It would be enough that she were professional. In truth, she is a delight to work with and with her periodic reminders of what was coming down the pike and the decisions we needed to make, Sophie made our lives and this daunting process much easier. What more could anyone ask for?”

“Steve provided excellent advice throughout the whole project of remodeling our 1968 kitchen! And boy did it need his expert help! Knowing our limited budget, he steered us in the right direction, often going out his way to find discounts for us on appliances and advising on decor. He was present during the installations of our cabinets, granite counter tops and ceiling fixtures. He was a great trouble shooter on the couple of occasions that arose and helped us stay in budget and finish within our time frame.
