I have ordered twice from this company, both times delivery was fast and the trees were in great condition. I ordered 38 arborvitae 3 months ago and all are thriving.
I ordered a Japanese MPle and I never received it after a month. There was no communication and their customer service is the worst I have experienced. You can’t get a hold of an actual person and their phone options Just loop back to the same thing.
Purchased a tree but received a bushy, so emailed the shop -- no reply, called the shop -- told will get a call back but never. If anyone want to buy any plants I suggest go somewhere else.
I ordered a plant.
I ordered a shirobana spirea. I could not find another source for the plant. The plant that I received was well-packed, large, and vigorous. I paid double what I would have paid for the same plant at a local nursery. But that's the nature of buying mail order plants. I would give them five stars, but the price seemed a little high.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY I ordered six plants for outdoor landscaping; four arrived dead. I ordered plants from three different online nurseries this year due to Covid 19; the other two nurseries took great care in packing and shipping the plants, all arrived healthy. This company did not package or ship the flowers as they should have been, and apparently they didn't have to as they do not have customer service to fix the problem. I have emailed them twice with photos, with no response. There is no telephone number for this company, they do not return emails. I am out over a hundred dollars.
Shipment took 3 weeks to arrive and only received half of my order. No customer service skills and I'm out $100 bc the other half never arrived. I'm trying to work with the shipper now to see if they even sent the items because they will no respond to email\calls any longer.

I ordered two lavender plants from Garden Direct that were the gallon size they advertised. They were perfect. Feeling satisfied, I ordered one more. It was tiny. It was decidedly NOT a gallon size. I had wanted a more mature plant. Locally I could have gotten the same size for $15 and less. The cost for one tiny plant was $58. I really thought they would want to make it right. I could not have been more wrong. “Rich” from customer service told me that plants grow!!! He did not even address that the size was not what I had paid for nor that I was unhappy. He basically told me wait until it grows and it will be bigger. I am so shocked to be treated so flippantly after receiving such a poor product for the price. The condescending way this was handled, the exorbitant price for such a small plant and the shocking inconsistency in products made this review necessary. A cautionary tale for anyone thinking of using this company.
I purchased the plant that was clearly not properly packaged and the plant arrived damaged and no longer viable. To be clear, It was not that the box was damaged, but the plant was not properly packaged. I’ve been attempting to contact customer service for weeks. Gardens goods direct is a ghost operation. They will take your money, but if you need a scintilla of assistance the probability is you will not find it with the garden goods direct.

Ordered a Variegated Hoya from this company and received a very unhealthy plant just a few days later. Split leaves, nicks, and cuts covered this plant and i am surprised a company would send such a thing to a paying customer. I was so disappointed. I took photos and emailed the company but several weeks later still no response and the plant has since died. Now I'm seeing all of these horrible reviews. Lesson learned.
Home Owner who ordered from them
On 4/10/20 I ordered Variegated Liriope Plants 5 flats of 18. On 4/13.20 they were paid from my credit card account $288 I received notice of the order and was told they would let me know when it shipped. I have left 2 phone messages with their "customer service" without response.m I sent tow emails asking when I could expect my order. Have yet to hear from these people. You cannot speak to a real person in customer service you can only send an email or leave a voice message. They must listen to these a night for laughs because they certainly dont respond. I have since filed a complaint with my bank disputing the charge.
I ordered 3 yucca color guard plants. Two arrived sick; they had lots of spots on their leaves. All the plants looked dry and a lot of the stems were dead. I contacted customer service the next day and I received a response back within hours. They said they would replace the plants free of charge. I got 3 more plants in the next week. They all had spots too, but not as much. Hoping I can save them. However, I really commend Garden Goods for providing replacement plants. They tried to make it right and you can't find that hardly anymore.
