Custom design and made in Germany. All hinges, locks and handles are also high quality made in Germany. The doors close easy and smooth without sound and are free of any draft. Hans and his business partner Alex are very knowledgeable and responsive throughout the process, and were able to work around our schedule. We are a firm of professional engineers owning & operating rental properties in Hamilton; and we are well experienced in preparing project specs, selecting suppliers, and ensuring project completion standards are met. Fortress Inc. met our requirements with NO failures. Steve Mercer is a truly reliable, trustworthy, straight talking, and exacting professional. He is as picky as we are about --- delivering the Project cleanly & compliantly. “We hired this company to replace our old wooden windows and what a difference it has made to our energy bills as well as comfort in our master bedroom. We were skeptical at first about the difference in glass (thought it was just a sales tactic) but they were spot on. We even notice that the improved glass reduces the outside noise much more than some of the "newer" vinyl windows in our house.
