“We have utilized the services of Vaughn Scott on a previous occasion as well with excellent results. He worked with us to create a beautiful 5000SQFT home that encompassed all of our needs. Vaughn was very easy to work with and provided some expert opinions that we considered very valuable. We recently sought out his expertise again to do a major renovation to a small bungalow. A small addition to the front and creating a very desirable roof line from the typical 1955 sloped roof. He was very attentive to our requests as well as the structural design components such as an en-suite, large front entrance and an open concept main floor. Vaugh accomplished this by utilizing existing walls and flush beams to really open up the smaller space. His pre-inspection of the home was accurate and proved very valuable in the design we were after. His attention to what the clients needs is complemented by his personal experience to produce a very high end product.”

“Chris Jones (Vice President, Innovation and Product Design at Jayman Homes) introduced us to Curt when we were looking for an Architect to design our home. We had an unusual request because we wanted a house that would have elements of New Orleans architecture. For our initial meeting and consultation Curt came with research and ideas on how the design should look and how it would fit on our property. We hired Curt because of his passion and attention to detail and it was the best decision we ever made! We allowed Curt design freedom and he delivered a stunning two story home design with a beautiful exterior and an interior that flows seamlessly throughout our home. Small details that are important such as maximizing window heights, curbless steam shower, symmetrical equal size kids rooms and so many more were all thought of during the design process. Curt also utilized the benefits of our property with rooms placed strategically to maximize views and sun exposure. The brilliant idea of placing the garages next to the home on two different levels to maximize back yard space and having the convenience of heated attached garages that are not imposing or interfering with the curb appeal. In addition, Curt helped us through out the build with decisions, such as how to finish the concrete porch to reflect the design of the house. You only need to drive by to understand how fortunate we were to have Curt design our home, someone who has the ability to think outside the box and deliver results that were beyond our expectations. One more very important lesson, hire an independent Architect when you are building your home! It is so important to be able to discuss issues with someone who is hired by you and not associated with your builder.
