“Wes, Founder and Owner of WR Woodworking, has supplied cutting boards and wood gift items to our upscale American fine craft gallery since 1999. His work was always perfect, a winner with customers, and sought after as the perfect "wedding gift" for years. His care, craftsmanship and quality is evident in every piece he made from a 6"x6" mesquite=turquoise block inlay cheese board to a Texas Star 14"X12" cutting board or chopping block made from Texas pecan. Wes lovingly made each piece and often took time from his busy home re-decorating projects to make sure our retail gallery was always stocked well. Many customers asked for his cutting boards walking in the door as they always purchased them as gifts for special occasions. Many of these were so beautiful that they became just kitchen decoration, rather scratch the perfect inlay surface with a knife blade...too bad as these heirloom pieces actually look better with the character of use over a lifetime. Anyone can count on Wes to be complete with a project, examine every detail for perfection and work with diligence to satisfy every customer. And, what a gentleman, there is not a nicer man to work with and trust with access to your home and special needs for your project. Wes gets my highest recommendation as a top-of-the-line wood craftsman in the area, a person who should be #1 on your list for a complex and detailed project.”

“Steve and his team did an amazing job for us. We hired Custom Tile of Austin to do a travertine pool deck and the quality and workmanship of their job is top notch. This was a job we had to try to fit around our pool builder's schedule, the weather and Steve's schedule and it all fell into place easily. Steve was always on top of contacting us to plan out what days will work and to ensure he made himself available on the days the weather permitted the work to be completed (we had the tiles installed in the winter). Steve is the type of contractor that you can count on to arrive when he says he will and to call you back when you reach out to him. Unfortunately that is rare these days in Austin. But Steve stands out as a contractor who treats his customers with courtesy and reliability. I would highly recommend Custom Tile of Austin for any tile installation job.
