“Express Wood Cabinetry was hired to remove worn 50 year-old kitchen cabinets and construct replacement upper and lower cabinets. At the first appointment, Brian arrived on time, discussed a myriad of options, took measurements, and assured us that we would have an estimate in a few days. Brian was a good listener and well groomed. It was clear that he was passionate about cabinetry and well versed in his field. Within two days, we had estimates for a couple of types of wood and designs that we were considering. Brian helped guide our decisions on designs by offering opinions and perspectives that we had not thought of. Brian was extremely helpful in offering creative suggestions and insightful perspectives regarding design, practicality/durability of different wood types. The pricing seemed reasonable, and a completion date agreed upon. Our first payment covered only the cost for the wood to make the cabinets. Cabinets were built at Brian’s shop about 2 ½ hours away. When our move in date was changed, our request for accelerated delivery and installation was met with a willingness to comply. We appreciated Brian’s flexibility and good attitude. When we saw the completed bottom cabinets, we were delighted. Brian installed those after the new flooring was put in and before the granite installers were scheduled. The next week all the upper cabinets were installed, and in addition, Brian designed the light fixtures in a cabinet above the kitchen sink, which had not been in the original plans. Brian is a true professional. His attention to detail was inspiring. We are convinced that we could not have found better workmanship with anyone else.”

“Recently, we completed extensive remodeling of our home. Our contractor hired Steve Tull to build and install all of the new cabinetry. Of the many tradesmen working on the job, Steve was one of the easiest to work with. He was personable and easy-going, yet he conducted himself in a professional and business-like manner. We felt comfortable in knowing we could trust him to give us the high standard of quality we desired. Both his craftsmanship and his service have been excellent. Steve was easy to communicate with, and he did what he said he would do in a timely manner. This "timely manner" alone sets him apart from many of Austin's current subcontractors. In July, 2015, we called Steve Tull again to move our floor to ceiling white oak cabinets that he had built for us in 2000. We had serious water damage from a leaking ice maker drain that damaged the floor and wall behind the cabinets. Our insurance agent agreed to support new cabinets as the removal was expected to damage the wood. Fortunately the five sections of cabinets were so well built that Steve was able to remove them entirely and reinstall all five sections without damage. He did all the work himself. This saved us a lot of time from not having to wait for the building of new cabinets for books and pictures. . We again are very happy with Steve's excellent craftsmanship and his professionalism.
