Commonwealth Landscape Lighting

I had used Commonwealth Landscape Lighting at my previous home so when I wanted some lighting for my deck and yard there was no question in my mind as to whom to call. My previous home lighting involved a pool, a deck and some uplighting on a lovely birch grouping. There is no doubt that when it came time to sell that house, this lighting was definitely a bonus feature. At my current residence I wanted some lighting on the deck. Mark came out and suggested down lighting in several areas; the deck, the stairway, the driveway and the firepit. He also suggested uplighting the weeping cherry tree. When I bought the house it had lots of motion detector spot lights. These were so overly bright and glaring they tended to blind me rather than provide light for me to see by. Now, whether we are grilling or sitting out with friends and a bottle of wine having the soft light of these low voltage fixtures in just the right areas makes the night much more pleasant, enjoyable and safe. Mark's crew was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. The work was performed as specified at the proposed price. The job was done in a single day and they're always available to call if I need any maintenance or added features. When I recently came across them on Houzz, I just had to write a recommendation!

Mark (owner of Commonwealth Landscape Lighting) was recommended by our landscape architect given a thorough redesign of our backyard. He worked with my wife and me to think about and design the optimal features we wanted for our outdoor lighting needs, everything from choosing the layout, the style of lighting, the lighting fixtures and other aspects and considerations. He was very knowledgeable about the different lighting options and was able to provide us with the trade-offs of various layouts and configurations. After choosing the fixtures we wanted and the locations Mark personally installed them, so it all turned out quite seamless from design to installation. He was very detail oriented and walked us through the different decision points as the installation proceeded. Mark is professional, meticulous, and takes great care in what he does. For example, before installing a light fixture on a railing post on our deck he went through the issues involved in drilling into the post and how the wire would look so that we could decide whether or not we wanted a fixture there. 8 months after installation we had an issue with one of the light fixtures that was not working. Mark came out the next day and at no charge changed the LED bulb. He showed exemplary customer service. I could not be more complementary of Mark and Commonwealth Landscape Lighting, and would recommend Mark without hesitation to anyone looking for help as they think about landscape lighting needs.

We hired Commonwealth Landscape Lighting to nightscape our backyard, they were very professional, fast and did a fabulous job! Nothing but great things to say about these guys! We have an inground pool that they lit up with gorgeous copper lights (raised) and they used these lantern type lights to light surrounding trees, it came out wonderful! We get compliments from everyone that comes to visit!!
