“Integrity- the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. Integrity is the one word that I would use for Surgio, Igor and their workers. They pay attention to detail and the bill is clear with no surprises (no hidden cost). Surgio (the owner) provides you with all his workers credentials and paperwork before the job starts. This is a TOP NOTCH HONEST BUSINESS. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDTHEIR RENOVATIONS. I was stressed BEFORE I hired them, and interviewed over 30 contractors electricians, plumbers and more for this renovation. But once I signed the contract and whitnessed the first day of demolition, I wasn't stressed anymore. Igor took over the plumpling and electrical work and I was totally stress free. (Not many people can say that when you do a 1250 square foot renovation as I did). I don't usually write reviews, I believe this is my second time writing one after years on Yelp. But the one thing that I was very impressed with is that Surgio always picked up his phone and or I always got a response from him in person or a rapid text, (over 126 texts back and forth during the job, mostly my stress). But a normal reply from him was, "It was nice meeting your wife, we are excited to get this going. Don't stress about the details, we will communicate along the way. And we won't do anything without your approval." WOW! And throughout the entire duration of the project, he was very patient and I felt I could always reach out to him with any questions. He's now a friend and building my doggy steps and ramp to the back yard. If I needed him to stop by to discuss anything in person he made himself available, as busy as he is, (he's also one of the top "tile" artists in the city with multiple jobs throughout the city). Please search his work and you'll be amazed, (it's what pulled me in). I'm so glad I found this company to do my new apartment renovation, (I went "corporate" and it's renting for $2400 a month to a, "Traveling Nurse", (and that's Auburn, NOT Seattle)! They helped renovate as well as add lihhting fixtures, flooring, and electrical to the kitchen, (a whole new electrical box). Surgio was amazing, he has restored my faith in contractors after a few recent bad experiences in Boston. Simply stated, he was professional, honest and fair, and I could not have asked for anyone better. His crew was also amazing. They are superstars in my opinion, and showed great attention to detail. The items behind the walls like plumbing and electrical looked crisp, clean with proper angles, (I don't know it looked neat). They did not get annoyed or impatient with my many questions, and always asked me for input no matter how small the decision might appear to be, (like the multiple outside "door" photos he texted me). If I was ever unsure, we would all discuss the pros and cons of all the options, such as direction of tiles, or placement of the his suggested edison light fixtures. “My wife and I met Jim Burbridge owner of ADDB at the Tacoma Home Show in February 2014. We invited him to come to our 1978 built home and make a bid on remodeling our kitchen and master bathroom. We were happy with his and the designer's proposal and signed up for the work to begin in July 2014. His employees were tremendous for the demo and reconstruction project. It was finished mid-September, and we are extremely happy with the outcome. Every time we walk into the new kitchen and bath we just smile.”

“Over the past year, we have worked with WSK to complete our Master Bath, and Kids/hall Bath. We were very pleased with the outcome, and the price, and the entire WSK staff. Both bathrooms were full gut rehabs. We replaced all the tile, brand new tub and showers, all new cabinets and sinks, and plumbing and painting. The cost for our Master was ~$35K and about ~$30K for our hall bath. Nanette and Lindsey at the office, were very communicative and would usually call me every day during the remodel to let me know what was next. Frank was kind of the foreman so he was there consistently throughout both projects and he is the absolute nicest man, very respectful, and very thorough. Erin came out in the beginning and gave us a fair estimate, which was for the most part adhered to except for a repair we needed and when we selected some higher priced items. Other than the initial meeting with Erin, the owner, we did not interact with him much during the project itself. But if I felt like I needed to talk with him directly just for a higher level of expertise, I could text or call and he would always get back to me quickly. The work did take a few weeks longer in both cases than what was originally estimated. But to be fair, there are always little detours and things that happen that extend the timing of completing the project, some of which were caused by our personal travel or schedules. That was the only thing I sometimes got frustrated with, but even when I was stressed or grumpy because I have people in my house all the time working, the staff was always kind and patient with me. I was impressed with how Erin and the team helped out with some extras that were not necessarily included in the estimate. A couple examples include painting another wall adjacent to our hall bath because we had a flaw in the wall not related to the remodel that needed repair, fixing our tile and grout that was discolored, and changing our door frame around our master bath after the project was completed. Luciano is a wonderful painter and really pays attention to detail, does not rush - I think he must be a perfectionist. Our hall bath had some additional challenges including an outcome of our shower that did not turn out the way we expected. It took awhile to figure out what we wanted to do, but WSK presented me with all the options, and were very fair in working out a compromise on the additional cost to help me stay within budget. I've already recommended them to others in our neighborhood. And we have a very large Kitchen remodel planned for 2018/19 and we plan to use them again. We know and trust everyone there, and more importantly, then now know me and how I work and what we like which helps them better customize the designs to our needs and desires for something functional and stylish for the best cost possible. They have already provided helpful schematics of our kitchen so we have a good idea what we want, but taking a break from remodels for a little while. We will definitely be back in touch when we move forward on the kitchen. Thanks!”
