CertaPro Painters of Hilton Head

We had CertaPro paint our home exterior last month based on recommendations from a neighbor. It turns out that the neighbors who referred us had been referred by other neighbors also and this was the 4th home (out of 70 in the neighborhood) that were painted by the same company. All were extremely happy when they referred the others. We are also extremely happy with the work that was done. Out home was only 2 years old but the builder's contractor used contractor grade paint even though our home is upper end. There was mold and the paint did not seem to hold up well. We went with CertaPro and used the top of the line paint (upgrading paint quality is minor compared to labor). Everything was prepped well, washed, mildew gone and the paint looks spectacular. We love it more each day. Everything was neat during the work, the crew was polite and accommodating and they finished a bit earlier than planned. We plan, in turn, to recommend them to anyone asking us about our experience. So glad we chose them. Now considering what to paint inside the home.

Certa pro Painters just finished an extensive exterior job on our Stucco Home. The whole team worked tirelessly and efficiently in spite of weather delays and intense heat. The exterior of our house looks amazing. The new owner of CertaPro, Michael Mooney, was an absolute delight to work with ! His professionalism , communication, knowledge, and follow through were way above any other estimate we received . His proposal was very reasonable, detailed, and QUICK . He patiently and tirelessly helped us select the paint colors for our necessary HOA approval. Michael Mooney really cares about the work and his people and we would not hesitate to use him again. If we could give him 10 stars we would. We recommend CertaPro most highly!

I can't say enough about Fred and his team. We interviewed several painters on Hilton Head before going with CertaPro. Fred was able to start the job on short notice and his team of painters were top-notch. There are a lot of over-priced options out there and this is not one of them. One of the best "jobs for the money" I have ever gotten and I have done 8 gut renovations over the years.

I bought a new house recently in Sun City, a retirement community in Bluffton, SC. I wanted to repaint it completely and remove the popcorn ceiling. I got estimates from four different companies and decided to hire CertaPro Painters of Hilton Head (843-757-7121). The estimator, Mike Mooney, was very professional, courteous, and thorough. He went through the whole house making notes and taking photos, which he incorporated into his proposal, reciting the best price of all four bids. His demeanor, knowledge, and frankness in explaining the process and recommending the paints gave me a lot of confidence. It was important too that he was able to advance the start of the project from several weeks to only two weeks by putting together a fine crew of dedicated workers from Galbell’s Painting Solutions, which is why I nicknamed him Mike the Miracle Maker. This crew consisted of project manager Luis Galeana and three young assistants, Yansi, Karen, and Milton. Luis Tovar oversaw drywall and popcorn removal. I wanted to mention their names because they were fantastic and deserve specific recognition. If you watch a video of popcorn removal you will see how messy it is. Painting is not far behind. To do these well you have to prepare the area properly and pay close attention to details. The CertaPro workers did that and more. They were also personable and considerate. Luis promised to finish the job in two weeks and made it in thirteen days. More importantly, the ceiling and the painting were perfect, and everything was left clean as a whistle. I highly recommend CertaPro.

We hired Certapro for a condo that was being renovated and need their services done in stages. We had a couple of glitches but it all worked out and they did a wonderful job and we are happy with the final result. The customer service was great too.

We used Fred’s crew in a property we had just purchased as well as a property we needed to sell. He was professional and provided feedback that saved us money. The crew he used did a great job, were professional, and pleasant to be around. We will use them again when are property needs painting!

We hired Certapro based on their proposal price and availability to start immediately. The paint crew (contractors) were professional, on time and did a nice job. We had to point out a few things that they missed as they went along which they corrected immediately. I have given a 3 star review as during the 8 days of painting (entire interior of our home), the owner of the franchise never reached out to check on his paint crew or the job they were doing. He has yet to check in with us to see if we are satisfied or have any concerns. We wrote a check for the entire amount to the contract crew leader and still haven't heard from the owner.

After receiving numerous bids to paint the interior of our new home, I selected CertaPro Painters and am I glad I did! I arranged for the bid with the office assistant, Kris Teena, who was friendly and quick to make arrangements for Fred, the owner, to come by to review the job specifications. The bid was prepared thoroughly and quickly - while Fred was still at the house - and I was able to easily understand how the estimate was arrived at. Kris Teena readily accommodated my request for a quick turn around and selected a team with my job in mind. The painting team led by Luis did a beautiful, detailed job that began with reviewing the entire job with me to make sure instructions for paint selection and placement were clearly understood. What followed was extremely detailed preparation prior to painting to insure other surfaces were not splatted during the painting process. Prior to finishing the job, the Luis walked with me throughout the house to make sure I was completely satisfied. I won't hesitate to use CertaPro for other painting projects in the future

I hired CertaPro to paint my house. We provided a scope of work to clearly outline the work to be done. We were to say the least extremely dis satisfied. I would not recommend anyone use CertaPro if you want your job completed with any quality. They considered the job done with 100's of areas not painted, overspray on air conditioners, our trailer parked in the dirveway 6 ft from where they were painting, bushes, driveway, windows and the list goes on. Crew never cleaned up. I was outside cleaning up after them every night to prevent accidents. Ladders were left up, buckets of paint were left with water standing in them and who knows what else. I had no idea where they went to the bathroom, probably in these buckets as they brought no portable toilet to the job. I offered to pay a reasonable amt to pay for materials plus some, b/c I could not have them on my property any longer. He claimed the work was done. It was far from it. Kind of like saying your dentist cleaned your teeth when he only cleaned the front. Now I will see him in court b/c he thinks I owe him. Night mare, worst decision I have ever made in my life.
