I had Steve paint the exterior of my house. The job was perfect. Steve went above and beyond what was agreed on. He started and completed on time. For this reason I had him paint and rework a building just purchased. The job was a lot larger then my home but he completed all aspects of it. Sheetrock, paint, patch, and woodwork without any gotchas. The job size was 150K ft and he completed it on time. Great Job Steve. Keep up the good work.

Steve started the job when agreed upon and completed it on time. The job included painting of five rooms, the cabinet work and trim, sheet rock work and outside repair. There was no damage that occurred and the cleanup was excellent.

Description of job performed: Prepped, sanded, repaired, textured, and painted ceilings and walls.
We purchased a house that was built in 1982 with a heavy (ugly) textured ceiling and walls with noticeable repairs. Steve was the only contractor willing to take on the project. It helped that he lived in the neighborhood and repaired walls and ceilings on other houses in the neighborhood. During the job he found seven layers of wall paper that he removed in the kitchen and made several repairs to the sheet rock. Steve was easy to work with especially when we ran into problems that were not expected and not in the original scope of work. Steve suggested replacing the recessed lighting with LED lighting on the 20 foot ceiling which was easy to do with the scaffolding already in place. The walls looked so nice that the some of the interior doors looked beat up. Steve's crew sanded and spray- painted all of the original solid wood doors where they now look brand new. At the end of the project Steve's crew cleaned the house and removed all the mess. When people walk in the house their first comment is how nice the walls and ceiling look. We exceeded the original budget because we kept adding work to the original scope; however, it was well worth it. The interior could easily pass for a house built in 2014. Steve also refinished my front doors. Since he was unhappy with the outcome he came back and redid it to his utmost satisfaction—and ours. Recently I had a leak on my ceiling. I did not know whom to call so I called him. He rushed over found the problem and steered me in the right direction to get it fixed.
I like his work and have no hesitation in using him for other projects. I recommend him highly to anyone who has similar projects in mind. He is reliable, imaginative, hard-working and easy to work with. He has a knack for finding the source of the problem and knows exactly what to fix and how to do it. He has done an outstanding job for us and, indeed, far exceeded our expectations. Here is a guy who is responsible, knowledgeable and always willing to go out of his way to help you, and I can assure you that he will exceed your expectation.

Steve's crew painted our entire interior and they did a very thorough and professional job. The crew arrived on time each day and worked very hard each day. They cleaned up each day and they were very pleasant to be around. Some even sang when they worked. They completed the job within the estimated time. It was a pleasant experience.

New to the area, I chose "Painting by Steve" randomly through an internet search. He was quick to respond, provide estimates, and scheduled the work when it was convenient for me (during a period when I was out of town). The quality of the work was even better than the service! Steve contacted me by text several times during the course of the work suggesting modifications to the job that I had not considered. I provided Steve a key to the house & when I returned the job was done & the house as neat as when I left. I would highly recommend Painting Services by Steve!

Painting Services by Steve has done 2 painting jobs for me. The first was to paint my 3 story townhome. They were very careful spreading tarps before they started and cleaning up at the end of each day. They did a great job so I had him repair and paint our community fence. I asked Steve and his team to come in and paint the majority of my house (approx. 3500 sq ft) and paint our extensive kitchen cabinets. He gave me a quote and a timeline and stuck to both very tightly. My wife and I are very pleased with his work and were especially impressed with the quality of work and his crew adhering to the projecting start and finish date. We would definitely use Steve again and recommend his work.

The kitchen remodel job I had done by Steve was done very professionally and quickly. He is true to his word and will do all jobs planned. His pricing was very good and I knew the outcome would be all that I hoped for and it was. One of the nicest tasks done by Steve was the ordering of my appliance pieces after he located them on the internet, got my approval, and he talked for endless hours with the store when there were issues about the order and delivery. That I appreciated very much - if I had to start from the beginning with that part, I would have not gotten the task done for many more months! I would highly recommend Painting Services by Steve to anyone!

Steve and his crew are very professional and do excellent work. I highly recommend him. We'll have him back to do more work for us.
He's completed 3 separate paint jobs for us and we're very pleased with all his work. He painted several interior rooms and took great care to cover up furniture and clean up afterwards. He's very thorough, friendly, respectful, professional and has a good eye for color and design.
He power washed the outside of the house, replaced rotted wood, re-caulked all areas needing it and did a awesome job painting the exterior house. He helped us pick out primary and accent colors. People driving by the house kept slowing down to admire his work. We still get compliments from our neighbors!
Steve also refinished our front door. I wish I'd taken a before and after picture. It was poorly painted and the door did not look good. We were thinking of replacing it. Steve told us it was a great door it just needed to be stripped and refinished. I'm so glad we listened to him. He restored the door to it's original beauty. I admire the door everyday I go in and out.
