Portfauxlio Inc. chose paint colors for our apartment that both compliment our furnishings and the outdoor views through our large windows. I continue to enjoy the colors chosen and everyone who visits loves the colors.

This was the second time we worked with Ayia. She did a fabulous job with our kitchen when we renovated 10 years ago and so, when we decided to to our bathroom this year, we contacted her again! Once again we were extremely elated with the outcome! Over the past five years, Aliya has transformed our simple center hall colonial into a warm and delightful sanctuary for our family and friends. Excellent work! Due to a plaster repair, I was faced with either repainting our entire 2-story foyer or attempting to match an existing intricate, decorative, faux paint finish. Aliya from Portfauxlio was confident she could match the existing finish - saving time, materials and ultimately money. The risk was high, since the repaired wall is the one that catches the eye - the wall that runs alongside the stairway and gets the most light. Much to my delight, Aliya's work was a perfect match. The colors, glaze and texture matches the other walls (which were painted quite some time ago). She was able to match colors and technique, and before I blinked, she had it done. Working with Aliya was a pleasure. And now that I've seen examples of her work on her website, I'm intrigued about the endless possibilities of her talented work in other rooms in our house. Aliya heard our concerns about the lack of natural light in our small New York city apartment . It was pale and bland . She suggested 3 colours . We got small sample containers and painted them on a wall . Her colour choice was perfect . Now when we walk in to the apartment the colour on the walls instantly makes the space welcoming , inviting and bright . Other designers had suggested dark colours which just did not work for us .
