With just one appointment, The Color Coach provides definitive choices of paint colors that work together to create your desired look and coordinate your entire home. The Color Coach uses specific, scientific methods to determine your paint color palette. We come to your home or business and discuss the colors you love and those you do not. We'll find out from you what furniture, artwork and fabrics are important in each room and show you colors that will coordinate all of the elements of your home. The Color Coach Team, founded by Paula DeMars in 2002, has serviced over 7,000 satisfied customers throughout the Southwest. The Color Coach team members will come to your home or business and then the process begins as we: – REVIEW the property and discuss your desired outcome – PROVIDE information about how colors, lighting and finishes will work together – EXPLORE various options to suit your personality and style – SHOW you large swatches of paint color samples – CREATE an individualized color palette for you to keep. For INTERIOR projects, we will coordinate wall colors with flooring, fabrics, furnishings, artwork. For EXTERIOR projects it is important to harmonize elements such as the roof, landscaping and surrounding environment. If desired we can also RECOMMEND reliable contractors and craftsmen for virtually any job. STOP! Listen to me! Call Kathleen right now. I don't care if you think you've selected the perfect colors, call her. After weeks of collecting swatches and testing colors on the walls, we went forward with having our interior painted what we thought was a lovely "grey-beige". Well, it wasn't. Little did we know (but Kathleen did) that the greens from the golf course were causing the lovely grey beige to read a weird ice blue. Yuck! No offense to blue, but that was not what we wanted. We called Kathleen in a panic on a holiday weekend! She responded and came by. She spent hours meticulously going through each room offering incredibly tasteful and spot on suggestions. She is calm, deeply knowledgeable and immensely talented. We had to have the painters repaint 3 days of their almost completed work, but it was worth it-the Kathleen suggested color palette is FANTASTIC! It's more than what we expected and way better than we could have imagined. Of everything that we purchased and spent money on for our remodel, without the question, Kathleen's service was the greatest value and most impactful. Again, call Kathleen now! Tell her the "grey-beige turned ice blue" folks sent you!

We used Paula's services for both our interiors and exterior colors. She did an amazing job tying in our cabinet colors, flooring and art work to make everything pop. While it seems simple to pick a paint color yourself, using Paula insures you it won't be do-over. I will definitely use her again for any job, big or small.

Paula is amazing. She is a calm and knowledgeable professional who has helped me pick the perfect colors for my home over the years. This latest project was a rich and dark color for the master bedroom. I was afraid to go as dark as we did, however Paula reassured me that it was exactly what I wanted. She nailed it. When we bought our house I had a VERY short time frame to pick out colors and get the interior painted prior to moving in. Which had me in a panic! I called Paula and she fit me into her already planned out busy Saturday. That was awesome. But more importantly, the woman knows her colors and has a great eye. My home is tall and skinny with three stories. I like drama in a home and have whimsical taste. Paula helped me choose both interesting bold colors and an amazing base. I'm so happy with it.

This is the 2nd time we called upon Paula to help us with our paint colors. A few years ago she helped us with our exterior paint and this time she helped us with repainting our entire interior. Paula takes all of the hassles out of going to the paint store a gazillion times with paint samples. Instead, in approx. 2 hours you will have your paint colors picked out!!

Paula did such a great job selecting colors for the interior of our home! I was bored with the old Swiss coffee walls and Paula worked with me to select great colors to complement the furnishings and art work in every room of our home. It is hard to imagine any of the rooms without the warmth and interest they have now. It was such an amazing transformation that we called her back in to help us choose exterior paint colors. I met Paula 12 years ago, on a recommendation from my decorator. In two hours, Paula helped me choose all the colors for my entire house and I loved everything. She's been my go- to person ever since, including for a remodel of my new home last month. She has a great eye and an amazing knowledge of colors, textures, sheens, how lighting will impact how colors look in a particular room, what colors are more difficult to accessorize and how to use color to solve design dilemmas. Paula's also one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I have used Paula twice in the last two years. She absolutely amazes me with her talents. I get so excited watching her work. I simply show her a few things that I like, as well as a few pieces of fabrics/furniture from my home, and she starts creating your space! I've been 100% satisifed with her professionalism, punctuality, and talent. I highly highly recommend using her expertise if you plan on painting your home. Avoid going to paint stores 100 times for samples and testing them on your walls. It's SO worth the money to know the colors will look right the first time and without all the hassle and second guessing! Thank you Paula! Beautiful work.

Paula is wonderful!! We decided to call some professional help in at the last minute to assist in choosing colors for the entire interior of our newly purchased home. We chatted on the phone for 30 minutes about my likes and dislikes and my vision for the space. She met me at the house the following Monday with her paint chips. We spent two hours together and when she left I had the most beautiful palette for my entire home. She helped me achieve the look I wanted that also matched my dark hardwood floors. I had been on entirely the wrong track. Even my husband said that it was the best money we spent during the redecorating process of our new home. Thank you, Paula!

We are in the process of choosing exterior house colors. My wife and I had a pretty good idea of the main color bit were log jammed on the trim and door colors. We decided to consult with Paula DeMars and are glad we did. Paula was able to recommend a color scheme that my wife and I were happy with. The process was very easy. We consulted with Paula a few years ago when we remodeled the interior of the house. Again, we were able to settle on a color palette pretty quickly and are very pleased with the results. Paula and her team are very easy to work with. I highly recommend them.

I was confident at choosing color until the stakes got high - had to repaint the entire interior of a large home for resale. Since I had no wish to make a mistake on a $6,000 investment with my paint contractor, I was happy to have the recommendation of Paula from a friend. For a fraction of the cost of the paint job, Paula picked out a palette of four colors that managed to accomplish the mission to transition from earth to cool tones while still incorporating stone, tile, and draperies I did not want to change. She warned me the first rolls of paint would not look like what we picked because of the reflection of the existing color. She was right. It was nerve-wracking, but oh my goodness what an outcome! The house was transformed. My real estate agent asked me for her number so he could refer her to another of his clients. When I think of the time it used to take me to pick color and the endless sampling, I am so grateful for Paula's talent. She's talented, but as importantly she is so incredibly professional. When it comes to paint, I will never go it alone again. Paula takes the risk out of choosing color.

My husband and I were about to embark on painting the interior rooms of our home but after spending countless hours in paint stores and having an entire wall of one room covered in paint samples, we were still no closer to determining what the best color was for 1 room let alone all others in our home. We were frustrated and hence contacted Paula of The Color Coach. Paula was able to come to our home yet that week, quickly established a rapport with us and went right to work. Within 1.5-2 hours she had selected colors for all rooms of our 1,800 square foot home that created a beautiful palette that transitioned nicely from room to room. She listened to our preferences and tailored her recommendations accordingly. In addition, at the end of the appointment, she provided us with a worksheet that listed by room the brand, shade and sheen selected along with colors for ceilings and trim work. We literally just made a copy and provided it to our painter! It was a fun meeting, a huge relief and we felt so comfortable and confident with the selections. It now has been roughly 2 months since we completed 1/2 of the painting and we are thrilled with the outcome! While the consult fee was not inexpensive, it was worth it to have the rooms looking so great without more selection trials and errors on our part and to only have to hire a painter one time vs. many redos and love the result! Highly recommend Paula and her services which is high praise coming from me considering my high expectations and thrifty nature!
