BEWARE... BEWARE... HORRIBLE.... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.... WRONG PRODUCT USED ON MY HOUSE. AS A RESULT MY CEDAR SIDING IS RUINED. $125,000 OF DAMAGES TO MY HOUSE. The ordeal I have endured with Artisons Painting is a cautionary tale that no homeowner should ever have to endure. If I could, I would give them a negative rating for the utterly atrocious experience I've had. This is not a licensed business. Please look at the photos and workmanship from this company. My initial encounter with Joe was filled with optimism as we discussed an exterior home project. This project encompassed staining my home and addressing rotted cedar siding across various sections. Regrettably, what should have been a straightforward undertaking turned into a series of mishaps and mismanagement. My concerns began when the project commenced and Joe's crew proceeded to spray my house before addressing the rotted wood, a process that was inherently flawed. My attempts to correct this were met with disregard as Joe insisted that this was their standard procedure we will remove the rotted wood after were done spraying your home. The paint they used was watered down. I addressed that to Joe and he stated it wasn't and that we just put water ontop of the paint so it doesn't dry out. Once they started spraying, I questioned how it looked like water being sprayed on my house. Joe gave me another line, it was just wet. IT WILL BE OK. At the end of the day, my concerns became evident. I saw bubbling throughout the house highlighting a severe lapse in execution. What added to the distress was the revelation that a latex paint had been used instead of the agreed-upon stain, a breach of our contract terms. NEVER WAS A PAINT REQUESTED!!! The lack of supervision on the crew, coupled with a clear misunderstanding of the project scope, only exacerbated the issues. Joe's intermittent presence did little to rectify the situation, as the problems persisted and worsened over 2 days. Materials were utilized without any prior discussion or consent, leading to inappropriate substitutions such as plastic PVC trim around my shed door, and pine wood was slipped in for facia board replacement. Corner boards were replaced with unsuitable wood, and the cedar siding that was installed was on the wrong side--nothing short of a DISASTER! Paint brush streaks adorned the gutters, a stark reminder of the mismatch between oil-based stain and water-based paint. The application failed to adhere as promised, with bubbling and cracks emerging within a day. As the months passed, these flaws have only magnified, rendering my house a disheartening sight. The distressing culmination of this saga has left me utterly disheartened. Not only has the aesthetic appeal of my home been marred, but the workmanship and professionalism promised were but empty words.

Joe and his team were very professional, detailed and kept everything very clean despite scraping through the layers of paint on my 120 year old house. They fixed boards where needed, fixed window casing and were super flexible. I was having my porch rebuilt at the same time, but that project was delayed so he put a temporary coat of paint on so the porch didn't look hideous, and finished the porch painting when the new porch was on. It was a great experience for me as they moved quick and did a fantastic job. Totally recommend them!

Artisan painting and remodeling is a great company to work for! I have worked with them many times and always been very very happy with the end product and the customer service. The work they do is top notch! I just had Joey out to give me a quote on a big outdoor painting project and he noticed something else that was out of order on the house and immediately jumped in and started working on it. He is always looking for ways to maximize your dollar and recommends things that must be done and will steer you away from things that you don’t have to do or that are not a good use of your money. Joey is super trustworthy and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for any kind of work.

I met with a few contractors and received estimates for an exterior painting project on our 118 year old home. Joe came in with a fair estimate and provided pictures of the work he had done around the neighborhood. His crew performed power-washing, scraping and painting and completed a large project in under a week's time. Joe's crew were professional and courteous. Joe was very professional and responded to calls very timely. The paint job looks fantastic and has transformed our home and added some major curb appeal. I would recommend Joe and his crew to anybody who asks. Keep up the good work fellas.

Awesome work! I was delighted with my experience with Artisons Painting & Remodeling. My project entailed repairing and painting kitchen cabinets and making dry wall repairs in my kitchen. The work Joey and his staff did was meticulous! My cabinets look like brand new. Joey also recommended a paint color for my accent wall and kitchen island that coordinated very well with my other paint colors and enabled me to postpone painting other rooms in my home. I am so pleased with how things turned out. I highly recommend Artisons Painting & Remodeling! They are professional, responsive, conscientious, and personable. They are a pleasure to work with!

Our project was the exterior of a 120+ year old home. We needed someone sensitive to old construction that was willing and able to competently care for old storm windows, original double hungs, and wooden porch post/ railing repairs. On top of that we have a five color paint scheme. Joe came on time for his estimate and communicated well throughout the entire process. His crew members are polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. Joe is in and out throughout the project re-supplying, etc. They took special care of an extensive garden which went beyond my expectations. (One afternoon a crew member borrowed a leash because he noticed a dog wandering around on a very hot day. He found it's owner and returned the pup. Just good, kind men.) This crew can also paint a straight line and they took the time needed to paint detailed trim, spandrels and railings. Other painting contractors wanted extra to remove storm windows, paint them and the sashes behind them. Artison's price included these details. Their prices are fair for the amount of work required. They caulked plenty of gaps,etc. On the last morning of the job one of Joe's crew gave us a roll of masking tape and asked us to put a piece on anything we were not happy with. We could not find any spots that needed further attention so returned the tape unused. The finished project is beautifully done. In the almost 30 years that we have been restoring this old house we have worked with many fine, and a few not so fine, contractors. Artison's Painting is one of the best.

We were about to move in to a partially remodeled home when the painter, hired by the contractor, walked off the job. We hired Artisons on our own and they were amazing. They went overboard to get as much accomplished as possible before we moved in, and followed up promptly to finish after the move. The painting looks spectacular!! They painted our entire house and we couldn't be happier. Joe and his crew are professional and respectful. Their mission is to make the client happy. We'll never use another painter.

Artison's has completed several projects in our home, the most recent being the painting of our patio fence. They are very professional, completing the work in a timely manner and with the highest quality. The crew thoroughly cleaned up the area each day and then again when finished. The business owner listened to our ideas for the job, and returned calls quickly. We will be hiring them again this summer for several other projects.

I am pleased to have found Artisons Painting and Remodeling. We recently moved into a new house in a new community, so we had no referrals. I saw Artisons on Houzz got a good vibe based on the pictures and what I read, and hoped for the best when I met with Joey to discuss the project. I was pleasantly surprised... Joey is laid back, yet professional, he answered all of my questions and even gave me additional information to consider. The staff was professional and minimized their time with us, by working as efficiently as possible. We have been so pleased with the work that this company has done, that we have additional projects in queue and Artisons Painting and Remodeling is our first, second and third choice to get it done.

Artisons was recommended by my local Sherwin Williams and I'm happy I gave them a try. My experience with past painters was less than satisfactory. Artisons Painting made sure every inch of my house was protected and covered with plastic and drop cloths. Their painting lines were perfect and the final product was immaculate. They painted the exterior of my home and a few rooms on the inside. They are meticulous and fast. It's great to have a wonderful painting contractor like Artisons in my little black book. Did I forget to mention that they were very pleasant and respectful to my family.

Artisons Painting was a breeze to work with on the interior painting of our home in Clarendon Hills Illinois. From star to finish they were very attentive to detail and made sure we were happy with the progress. When we added some work they still completed the job on time. They made repairs to imperfections in the drywall I didn't even notice at first and all of their paint lines were flawless. I love how respectful they were to my family and will use them over the summer to paint the exterior of our house.
