This job was satisfactorily accomplished in reasonable time although a few corners were cut. I am particularly pleased by the attention to my request to duplicate a paint effect on several walls. John Bell seems to have enjoyed this challenge and the result is fine!.

The painting job was well done, at a very reasonable cost, and the painters took safety measures during the pandemic to stay safe and protect us as well. I would definitely hire them again!

In October 2020, excellent service was provided to us by the entire team of CertaPro Painters of Ottawa. Our painting job was a one-day operation and we were more than happy that the company accepted this relatively small job of painting our bathroom ensuite, upstairs hallway, high wall leading down to the main floor, one entrance-way wall and our garage door. The service was professional from beginning to end and created a very good and lasting impression. Our first phone contact was from Quebec (we presume the home office?): the young lady was courteous, respectful and had an excellent and pleasant phone manner. Our main contact, through emails, was office clerk and assistant Kirsty Q. She answered our many questions and concerns promptly and directly and kept us informed every step of the way. She was a pleasure to work with. Our first "in-the-flesh" contact in these pandemic times was David G. - a true professional in every sense of the word. David was respectful of our safety concerns and fully knowledgeable of the painting business, answering our many concerns and questions with patience, while providing useful suggestions. David is a people person and absolutely the right man for the job. He certainly inspired our confidence in the company. Our painter John was punctual and very personable. He worked quietly and unobtrusively, without disturbing family members working from home. He left his work space impeccable at the end of the job. A++ service!

I hired CertaPro to remove ancient wallpaper from my walls and replace it with a fresh paint job. There was also some fairly significant damage in the drywall that needed a professional touch to repair. CertaPro Ottawa did not disappoint. The consultation process was very timely and professional, and I felt like my best interests (as an unknowledgeable client) were respected. The price quote was clear and there was regular ongoing communication throughout the course of the project. Finally and most importantly, the end result was definitely to my satisfaction! 10/10 would hire CetraPro Ottawa again.

Certapro was able to accommodate my schedule and received call a few days prior to reconfirm details. Mathieu was the painter assigned for my reno. High quality work completed the work within a reasonable time. Mathieu was always respectful and professional. I would happily hire Certapro again for the next phase of my renovations. Diane

I would not recommend this company for many reasons. The initial bid to paint a small condo was lower than most other companies but they had hidden costs that added up to a lot more than expected (ex: limited number of doors!!). Also, to justify their cost, the owner purposely over-estimates the time required to do the job (ex: 3.5 days) when it can actually be done in half that time (ex: it was done in less than 1.5 days). Upon first inspection, the work seems ok/average but after a closer look, only 1 coat was done under bulkheads, some receptacles were painted over or not painted close enough to allow the plates to cover the unpainted portion, some spots were clearly missed on the walls during the 2nd coat and the ceiling was left with many spots of coloured paint from the wall. This company cares way more about the money than it's reputation. Look elsewhere.

Emil was excellent and professional. He gave daily statuses and finished on time. He cleanup up everyday and there were no messes.

Our painter Mathieu was amazing very polite and professional he took his time , kept everything clean , picked up after himself would recommend Mathieu to do another job for us or anyone else and would recommend Certapro Painters to everyone

Two painters from CertaPro painted half of our house including very high ceilings in the hallway upstairs and downstairs and removed the popcorn on the ceilings. We are very satisfied with the quality of their work, their professionalism and their work ethic. We will not hesitate to deal with the company on other projects and to recommend it.
