We've worked with Chroma Colors a few times and they've done great work both on the interior and exterior. Their project managers are great to work with, and the work product is much better than other painters we've worked with. They are flexible, communicative, and a general pleasure. We will absolutely work with them again. Its worth any potential extra cost.

It is a pleasure to write a review for Chroma Colors. I have been building a house for two years. I have struggled to find good subcontractors who have the manpower and the organization to arrive when scheduled, on time, ready to work and to do outstanding quality work. Chroma provided all of this. At the time I called Chroma I was at my wits end with painters who overcharged and came when they felt like it. Jamey Rice from Chroma called me back immediately. He came by to see and go over the job and I had a bid within 24 hours. Better yet they started 3 days later. The job included painting wood windows, walls and enamel trim. It also included staining all interior doors and a cherrywood library. It included outside doors and exterior trim. The work is outstanding. Jamey checked in regularly and the stainers and painters were incredibly professional and arrived at 7:30 every morning. I added work and they graciously worked around my schedule. They picked up after themselves and even picked up after other subs that left things in their way. They were a pleasure to work with. They were friendly and communicative. I can’t say enough about Jamey, who ran the job. He was a magician with scheduling and making my life easier. He was beyond organized and always willing to try to solve any problems that arose. Even when the other subs ran behind he figured out how to keep everyone working to capacity. I can’t say enough superlatives about their work. They weren’t the cheapest bid but I got far more than I expected. You will be lucky to have them on any job.

I have worked with Chroma Colors and Michael Clementi for over 13 years on three historic homes, two in Mill Valley, CA and one in Petaluma, CA. Michael and his team always do phenomenal work, to a very high standard. Michael has advised on color choices and paint effects. Michael and his team are wonderful to work with and truly go to the distance, always working to stated deadlines. One could not ask for a more expert and professional team. I wholeheartedly recommend Chroma Colors.

We updated our dining room and changed from spindles to pickets on a stairway. We also had Michael (the owner) update a table by painting it. He helped me choose colors. He has a flair for design and knows what is "current". I always call on Chroma Colors when I have a painting job that needs finesse. They always come through: competent, on-time, reliable and most of all--excellent painters! They also painted our entire upstairs in the past: living area, dining, bedroom, kitchen and foyers. We couldn't be more pleased!

We recently asked Chroma Colors to undertake an exterior painting project for us after a good experience with them four years ago when they did all of the interior painting for an extensive remodeling project we had done. I highly recommend Jamey, Chroma Colors' supervisor, and his painting crews. Jamey is responsible, timely and offers good advice, based upon his extensive experience. We found Jamey's painters to be careful with detail, polite and very hard workers. We'll continue to regard Chroma Colors as our first choice for any painting projects on our house.

We have been using Chroma Colors for years and cannot imaging using another painting service. Michael and his team are not only wonderful people, but also incredibly professsional. They are detail oriented, neat, honest, and always go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. We would have given them more than 5 stars if we could!

I cannot say enough about this outfit. Chroma Color was punctual, reliable! Because this property is on the ocean, I needed care for my landscaping, excellent sanding preparation and a bulletproof finish. Michael gave me a thorough description of the process and we agreed on a date. I visited the project everyday and witnessed a professional crew but most importantly, a sense of pride in their craft. without a doubt, I would hire them again.

TL;DR: Hire Chroma Colors as your painters. 1. Michael is a fabulous color consultant. He really listened to what I was wanting in our space and went over and above the call of duty by personally bringing over large swatches of my top choices as well as a couple extra ideas. One of the colors that he thought of himself ended up being the exact thing I had seen in my minds eye for our space, and I am delighted with the final results. 2. The Chroma Colors crew is polite, neat, responsible, and communicative. Jamey, the PM, was always a text away with ready with answers or updates. Derick, the onsite project lead, was super helpful... we weren't in the home while they were working and one rainy day water started leaking into our garage and through an interior wall. Derick and the crew cleaned out the french drain responsible for the leak and set up a bazooka heater to dry out a wall that had become damp... WAY beyond their scope of work, AND they were friendly and helpful about the whole thing. 3. Chroma Colors' pricing was really fair. Michael's bid was in the same range as two others I got, but I have never worked with a painter with this much attention to detail so I feel like he provided genuine extra value. When he came over to scope out the job he pointed out mistakes the previous painters had made and explained how it would look different when they were done. He visited the job site a couple times during the project to make sure every detail was perfect, and then personally visited with me after the job was complete to make sure I was fully satisfied. I have a couple smaller jobs coming up in the next few months and will not even consider using anyone else.

Jaime and Marius showed up on time, did exceptional work and checked back with us to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. They deserve the 5 star rating. We will hire them again when it's time to paint the exterior.

Michael and his crew did an excellent job in painting practically every room in our house. He was willing to make color boards to help decision making and worked very well with our designer.
