I had the pleasure of working with Matt and his highly professional crew of painters to do interior and exteriorlwork at my house. I have an older home built in the 20s with plaster walls which always presents challenges. They were careful, meticulous, cleaned up after themselves and very professional. Matt uses only high-quality paint and his crew was able to take care of some minor repairs along the way. I was very pleased with the entire experience and thought that the price for The value I received was excellent. I would definitely hire Matt and his crew again

We wanted our cabinets painted, but not JUST painted. We wanted molding added to the top and on the bottom of the cabinets, then we wanted a deep and smooth coating before dry brush glazing and a clear finish coat. We provided Matt a door sample from a line of cabinets we would have liked to purchased but the cost was simply too high. He took on the challenge and created a sample to show us what he could do. It was perfect. He set up in our garage and created a spray booth. Throughout the process, all of his employees were courteous, pleasant to be around (fun actually), they cleaned up after themselves, and made what could have been a difficult process - particularly right before the holidays - as easy as it could be. I highly recommend them and am planning to use them again for additional projects. If you want a cheap painting job, don't ask them. These are pros - artists really - and you pay for top quality like their work.

Matt at Dehaan Painting was great to work with and did an excellent job painting our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. His prices are reasonable, his work is fantastic, and he completed the job in LESS time than he said it would. A true professional who went above and beyond in every way, as well as was a joy to be around. I would hire him again for any other painting project.

Very professional. Matt responded to my quote request immediately. He was at my house the same day inspecting my home and taking notes on everything that I wanted addressed. He later emailed me a formal quote which was very competitive. His crew completed the work exactly as agreed. Excellent work!!

I would give Matt and his crew six stars, if I could. I hired DeHaan Painting to repair and paint some walls with water damage and cracked ceilings to a 1940's house. Plaster is tough, and I was amazed that they were able to make the place look like new, all in one day! When we purchased a new home, we hired Matt and his crew to repaint/revitalize our newly purchased 3,500 sq foot fixer-upper. The house had not been painted since 1970, and it showed, but they were able to bring it back to life. They removed 45 year old wallpaper without any damage to the walls, painted a ton of dark wood trim and basically every wall in the house. They truly transformed the place. Matt worked with us to fit our needs to our budget and his crew was amazing. We weren't living at the house while they were painting, so they accepted deliveries for us and even put packages in the garage for us (so nothing was left outside) and made sure to lock up for us each night. They were kind, courteous and meticulous in every detail. I would hire them again in a minute!

Matt and his team were a pleasure to work with. We used him for an insurance claim but enjoyed working with them so much that we plan to use him for a future project very soon. Great quality work!

I needed two different paint jobs completed and Matt's crew did what he said that he was going to do. First I had some ceiling damage due to a leak and Matt prepped the room, primed and painted the entire ceiling so that it look like new. Second, I wanted to get a fresh coat of paint on my house's exterior prior to the installation new gutters. The paint job was definitely needed and I am so happy with the results. Thanks Matt for all of your crew's hard work. I will definitely be using you in the future.

Matt and his crew were great! We had our 2700 SF home repainted from top to bottom after moving in. Matt gave us a free estimate and then worked with our budget and timeframe. He was also able to refer my wife I to designers that gave us a color consultation. During the job his crew was very courteous and were clearly careful while around our home. Matt frequently asked for feedback and fixed anything I may have noticed on the spot. I would absolutely use this company again and recommend them to anyone looking to have their home painted.

I've used about half a dozen different painters in the last 15 years of working in residential and commercial real estate, and have always had to deal with poor communication, shoddy workmanship, tardiness/no-shows, and lack of attention to detail. Matt and his guys are like a glass of ice water for someone trapped in hell. From the initial contact (he always returns phone calls promptly), to scheduling, to quoting (clearly-worded estimates that you can easily view and approve online), to the actual work (he did exactly what he said he'd do, when he said he'd do it), Matt is top-notch all the way through. He'll be our first phone call for any painting needs we have going forward.

Matt is a very nice guy and a great painter. He painted all of our downstairs ceilings and some walls. Matt was not happy with one of the walls when it was dry, so he redid it, on his own time! The house looks fantastic! Thank you Matt!
