We recently hired Emer & Son Painting to paint the exterior of our house after discovering them through Google reviews, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! With so many glowing 5-star ratings, our expectations were high, and they certainly delivered. From the very beginning, Emer was incredibly communicative and responsive, making the entire process smooth and straightforward. He provided a detailed estimate outlining all the work to be done, including power washing, replacing rotted wood, sanding surfaces, caulking corners, and applying primers followed by two finish coats on all surfaces, including our garage doors, railings, and shutters. We appreciated that he used rollers and brushes instead of spraying, ensuring a more thorough and meticulous finish. It was a big plus that Emer managed everything, including power washing, so we only had to deal with him and his crew—very convenient and reassuring. If we had specific requests, Emer addressed them right away. The quality of the work is outstanding, and we are extremely satisfied with the results. We will definitely be recommending Emer & Son Painting to anyone in need of painting services.

My husband and I recently hired Emer and Son Painting for exterior painting and we are so happy with the results. We did a ton of research prior to booking them. They had the best reviews and rates hands down! We originally wanted to install siding but it was over our budget. The way they sanded the exterior it looks like they installed siding. I hired Emer & Son Painting to sand and stain my 900 sq ft deck, and their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right made it the best decision I could have made. Emerson’s guys came out day after day and painstakingly sanded the boards and rails of all the paint they possibly could. Their attention to detail was phenomenal. After sanding the tops of the boards, they even went back to get their sanders down between each board to ensure there would be no gray paint there to interfere with the transparent stain. They did an equally thorough job of sanding, priming, and painting the white rails of the deck. The finished product was far better than I could have hoped for. In addition to going above and beyond with the work, the communication from Emerson was phenomenal. He was easy to get in touch with, would often reach out and let me know what was going on, and made sure I was happy with the job being done. If you’ve hired contractors before, you probably know how rare and appreciated that is. Emer & Son Painting was reliable, easy to work with, and most of all did high quality work.

Emer & Son Painting is professional, timely, and reasonable. They painted the exterior and part of the interior of a Victorian style church house with a lot of trim work. Their bid was the 2nd lowest out of four but they addressed much more prep work in the bid than other painters. Emer’s painters showed up on time, did very careful prep work, texted or emailed me to keep me posted on the project, were always courteous when others from the church or I asked them questions, did high quality work, and finished on time. As a real estate investor that works with contractors daily, Emer & Son Painting is at the top of my list of groups that I would recommend to others.

very disappointed with the exterior job done 2yrs ago, obviously no primer was used or the wrong primer was used because big sections of paint are peeling off and loads of cracking everywhere, it should not look like this after 2yrs! - not only that his crew also broke asphalt roof shingles (see photos) and when they were power-washing the first day they power-washed the electrical A/C disconnect box and damaged the breaker inside (see photo) he said he'd send 'his electrician' in the morning to fix it but when 'his electrician' arrived he said he was not a licensed electrician and a real, licensed electrician was needed to fix it -- finally a licensed electrician came and fixed it a few days later but after alot of unnecessary headaches and it was in June so we could not use our a/c until it was repaired bottom line -- terrible job and I do NOT recommend them

Emerson is friendly and professional. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and all work was performed promptly and as promised. The quality of work was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him, and I plan to use him for future projects. The current project was to replace a large section of drywall that fell from my garage ceiling due to a water leak.

The painting of my house exterior and deck staining is just about done and I couldn't be happier! From start to finish (aside from the wet weather) Emer has been THE easiest person to work with. I have never had a contractor be so quick in responding to my texts, literally within 5 minutes of contacting him he would text me back! The pricing beat out all the other quotes I received, but even with that, his team did not take short cuts. They went above and beyond, removing all the rotted wood around my windows and in other areas. I can't say enough good things and I am definitely going to call them back for interior work. I read other reviews raving about Emer so I took the chance, and they were all right, he really did a wonderful job!! Thanks again Emerson!!

My wife and I went through an extensive search based on referrals and ratings before choosing Emer and Son Painting. We are happy to say that the end result was worth it. Emerson is a man of his word. He made sure that everything came out perfect which is evident in the attached photos.

The crew worked hard, they were thorough and polite, and completed their job despite a lot of rain. They cleaned up daily and made sure I was satisfied before the final payment was made. I would hire them again.
