Karen showed up for a 15-minute measuring appointment ON TIME, and her painters showed up three frays later ON TIME...early even! I did not want to paint the bathrooms because of all the cutting in and taping—and she quoted a fair price for three bathrooms and one bedroom accent wall. Her painters did a professional job and when I walked in at the end of the day IT WAS DONE, CLEANED UP, and you'd never even know they had been there...except for the newly painted bathrooms! I gave them a key and they locked up when they left (her painters are licensed/bonded). I highly recommend Karen and her crew!

I'm an interior designer who has worked with numerous painters over the years and I'm here to say that Karen Wagner of Fresh Coat N. Austin was terrific! She offered timely estimates and was able to work with our demanding time schedule. She responded promptly to every phone call, text message and email. And the quality of work was top notch! Her crew went to great lengths when painting my client's ceilings to prep the house so nothing was damaged. They worked quickly and quietly and cleaned up after themselves. She was able to paint match from samples we gave her and has successfully painted all the crown molding on this project, our walls and ceilings. She was also able to work well with my faux painter, doing the preliminary priming coats which greatly sped up the process and reduced the cost for my clients. I will be using Karen again and again!

Fresh Coat was wonderful to work with starting from the estimate. Karen provided great accent wall suggestions and was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process. We had all but two rooms of our interior painted (including ceilings, doors and trim), covering up pretty dark paint. It proved to be a tremendous undertaking. Her painters did a great job to keep things tidy (as painters can), covered what needed to be covered and were also very pleasant. It turned out BEAUTIFUL! Their work is guaranteed and she stands by her word. We had some redos due to the complexity of the job but Karen had her painters back here expediently and without questions. Will use her again when I decide to do some more accents and highly recommend her company.

Working with Karen and her team was an amazing experience. As first time homeowners we were nervous about who to trust. Karen eased all fears. We talked colors. She made recommendations and fully explained the types of paint -- who knew there were so many kinds! Her team -- Ray and Balthazar -- were great, too. They were efficient, respectful and quiet. I almost forgot they were in the house! I felt very comfortable being alone in the home with them, including feeling comfortable taking a nap after our movers left. We hired Fresh Coat Painters through a recommendation from our Realtor. We wanted to get some painting done prior to moving into our new home. Karen was very hands-on and helped us pick out paint colors and gave helpful suggestions when asked for them. The team came in every day and were professional and worked very hard. The team painted four entire bathrooms, entry, living area, kitchen and the stairwell area. We also needed a couple of other projects done prior to the painting and Karen recommended a general contractor and she worked with him to get the jobs completed. The job was completed when expected and Karen did an inspection with us upon completion to make sure we were satisfied. Overall we were very happy with the professionalism of Karen and her team at Fresh Coat Painters and the job we received. We were also pleased with Karen's recommendation of a general contractor and appreciated her working with his team as well to get everything completed on time. We will recommend them to anyone who needs a painter and we plan on hiring them again to paint the outside of our house sometime this year. Very satisfied with how our house looks and we look forward to working with Fresh Coat Painters again in the future.
